I found out my work emails haven't been coming through to my phone for a week and people have been trying to contact me. Not only have i annoyed people who give me work, i now have a ton of work to do on short notice.

almost got hit by cars

emailed physician via portal. instead of a written answer, the doctor's office left a message on my phone telling me to call back. what the flying f**k? the doctor could've written an answer on the portal. or the doctor could've left a message on my phone. but to tell the staff to leave a message telling me to call back? s**t, kaiser is a f*****g ripoff! (rolls eyes). i am terrified to find out what other forms of BS kaiser is doing or will do in the future. especially since my worthless corpse only earns minimum wage, s**t.

I'd be tempted to leave another message on the portal asking for a reply there, with a good real or made-up excuse for not being able to phone. Though if your matter is urgent, there might not be time to mess about like that. A lot of bureaucrats seem to think phoning is the only way to communicate, which astonishes me because it obviously isn't.
