I spent a totally stupid amount of money and time [steep learning curve of various software and hardware] just to get rid of vinyl [and mylar/shellac] noises.

one of my aspie perseverations, is that I HATE NOISE!! ! what might sound like mundane clicks and crackle/pops to you, sounds like firecrackers to me and each loud click makes me jump. always has. so I determined that if it ever were possible, I would do away with such. took about 10 years from that point, when the first declickers became available. I have not looked back. maybe if I had your more forgiving brain I would not have been driven to such. :dj:

p.s. - the late George Harrison went on record as saying he liked a bit of [what he called "good"] noise in his favorite recordings. wished I had a bit of his brain as well.

So far today I've watched two films, drunk two bottles of wine, listened to two hours of bellyaching Scousers on Radio Merseyside, and it ain't over yet. No Siree....

There is a half-hour's worth of tv that interests me this evening. That's poor for Boxing Day.
