I definitely agree, as long as they look at the whole person, the quality of life, the tradeoffs, the risks versus benefits, the survival rates, all of it. The best cancer care specialists do this. I hope that researchers will also put some more focus on nutrition and environmental factors that influence cancer risk and recovery. If they don't, then every quack out there will fill that desperate gap with way too many unproven, sometimes harmful, alternatives.
