I have the day to myself.
I'm chillin' out with none other than Northanger Abbey.
I'm cautiously OK with this book.
I haven't hurled it away yet, like my other Austens.

What else?
Cosy socks which are mysteriously filled with aloe? (huh?)

Retro Christmas lights.
My son installed window blinds where I need them most.

Got another refund for something Amazon said I could keep.
Got "cheesecake cupcakes" (mmmmm) and shortbread, for Orthodox Christmas.

^ my daughter got me a pair of aloe socks once. They were cozy. I liked 'em. Still not sure what the deal was with the aloe though.

I think I finally recovered from the holidays. I can think, function (mostly, or good enough for me anyway), and am eating once or twice a day again. I survived it all and am sooooo glad it's all done now. Victory.

These socks were actually given to my daughter for Christmas, but she kept putting them in my room unworn.
I finally just stole them.

I had a very bad night, but Raleigh fixed everything by being spontaneous.

It's time to get ready for therapy now, and I don't feel stressed at all.

We get along like a house on fire.
She thinks like me.
No one EVER thinks like me ...
She's ND and ADHD.
She gets it.
She's also stinkin' brilliant.
And funny -
She reminds me of Brenda.





I'm so blessed to have found her by misadventure.

Time passing

I finally managed to post the faulty SSD which cost me £135 that I've had since Dec 10th 2023.
Luckily I got till Feb 2024 to take it back bought from Amazon. But annoyingly it takes up to three weeks to get the refund.
The queue was like a mile long before.
Out the door and up the street at my post office up until today.

And I managed to go for a nice walk and take pics.

The snow from yesterday was all melted when I woke up today.

Hockey wasn't cancelled.

I'm a bit unhappy about how bad the roads are though.

My MR is going to BC.
I love him there.
It's sooo him.
Truth be told, he should live there again.
