I've had a very rough day today. There's a Handydart strike going on, so I had to take the bus to my job at the flea market and back home again with my walker. It was a 15 minute walk to the bus stop in front of the library. It was a 15 minute walk for me from the bus stop near the flea market to my building at the flea market. The 50s music fan who sells all the toys and trinkets was telling me to wake up after I just came in and gave me some beads to do what I want with. I didn't have enough money to have lunch after I payed for my table and luckily there was someone handing out free packages of ramen noodles. I could only afford 3 hot drinks. I was misgendered right off the bat as I was walking into the building. That same man misgendered me again when he bought something off me. I asked him politely to call me by my first name and only by my first name. I asked a man if it was his table that a rare Beatles album was on. He said, "Yeah, it's my table so what about it?" I told him, "I'm interested in that Beatles record." He said, "12 Dollars." I told him that I'd think about it because I only had $10 in my wallet after I payed for my table. I made the mistake of watching the Paralympic Closing Ceremonies on CBC Gem at the flea market and right after the flame in the pea-like cauldron went out, I had to rush into the accessible washroom for a good cry so that nobody else could hear me. A rugged man called me a N@zi under his breath so I said, "Have a nice day." He had a look of frustration on his face, so I said, "Have an even nicer day." He pounded the counter at the hot dog stand because he couldn't handle my positivity and kindness that I use towards people like him. Some people use the N-slur as a slang word for German, so I take it as a compliment. Just as 2:30 approached, I remembered that Handydart was on strike, so there wasn't going to be a ride for me, so I was going to have to take another 15 minute walk to the bus stop on the opposite side of the street that the Surrey 7-Eleven was on. All that after I had to ask one of the vendors if he could move so I could get through the side door. He told me that he didn't understand what I was trying to tell him. I told him in the heat of the moment, "That's because you're Canadian." I waited for the bus for 20 minutes on my own without any sights to take in. It was a 15 minute walk from the last stop to my apartment. I saw a supersize woman and her rugged boyfriend as I walked to my room. I overheard that b***h say to her boyfriend, "That person's our ret*d, aren't they. There's one on the other floor, too." just because I like the colours of a flag. I guess some people think that condition and liking flags go hand in hand. I also found out that Dean told Barb that I lied to my mum about being sick so I could watch Canada play against Germany in the men's bronze medal wheelchair basketball match. I didn't even have a proper dinner tonight because I didn't feel much like eating. I had tuna on Doritos for dinner.
