This is a song that always reminds me of a cool spring day with drizzle.
To this day, I only understand maybe half of the words to this song. This is one of those songs, where for me, the human voice is essentially another instrument. This is one of those songs I can play over and over again.

Live, the harmonies sort of stab my ears, but it's an okay performance.
I can hear the lyrics in every cover version, but the original Left Banke is my favorite. I like Linda Ronstadt's version too.

I always liked this song, and it is a song where I only processed some of the words. Then I looked up the lyrics, and I thought "This is pretty irresponsible. Pretty one sided." I still love the music and harmonies though.

I watched some groups I'd never seen before, and what caught my attention were they had go-go dancers. So I looked up go-go dancers in YouTube. The Gentries I've heard and seen before (in video). There are a couple moments of pause in this song, the the dancers more or less freeze. One cannot stop looking like she is going to fall over. go-go dancers. They will always remind me of some of my older sister's friends. Long hair, go-go boots. That's all I remember. I was eight or nine. :shrug: LOL
