I went to Chewy.com today and got my cat some medicine that just might help with her seizures. It will be here in a few days, so until then, I will have to keep giving her CBD oil (vet's idea) and hope they help.

I need to go do laundry, but I don't want to use the campground laundromat (I have no other choices). :(

Sleeping at early noon...?
Feasible but a bit too early to be really certain.

Maybe after around 3 hours or so.

Did various stuff just to keep myself awake...
Can't take much caffeine. Already had a bath/shower/wash... Did this biweekly's worth of laundry... Watched few episodes on TV before my mom went and occupied downstairs with her noise... Ate lunch... Worked out...

Just nothing overstimulating, while still kept me moving at the same.
So no multi tasking -- no listening to music or speech while doing all that. No daydreaming either. Just focus.

What else?! Walk half an hour worth and do some personal shopping? Nah, that would be for next month.

It's still early. Can't tell from outside it's barely past high noon because of dim clouds.

I'm worried that my new therapist is going to be a bad fit. I have my first appointment on Thursday next.

Retiring. Health may force me into doing what I could not do for myself.

I reached out to a PhD psychologist who specialises in ASD and ADHD including EF, Depression, Anxiety, etc. She works directly with an autism clinic. I thought it would be a perfect fit but then she replied saying that she relies on CBT therapy?

I was pretty shocked that someone who treats autistic and neurodiverse people would only use CBT, which is proven to be one of the least effective modes of treatment for us. I know it certainly doesn't work for me.

I'll be staying with my other psychologist instead. I like her quite a bit, but I was hoping to shake things up and try a new approach / person for a few months.

Sigh.

Oh no, not you too! I went through that for months! It's getting a little better very slowly.

How are you feeling now?

"Quality Questions" and 'manual' Executive functions.

I'm testing out a new therapist starting next Thursday, and I'm nervous too. You remind me I need to ask her primary methods as well. From what I can tell from her profile, she might be more into DBT (which I have never tried). CBT never worked for me either.

I don't know.

Sometimes I'm thinking of letting stuff go. Big ones but inconsistently practiced, like, say, drawing... :?
So I let it go. And I felt lighter.
.. it seems at the end of the day, no matter the interest, even life long, if it doesn't serve from the back of my head... It's just clutter.

Instead of some check list... Or an intricate system... Well...
I found something simpler. For me. It was to ask questions somewhere.

If I ask a better question, I'd get a better answer. Heads are funny like that.
