Like chicken skin?

The severed legs of a dead chicken :) It's been dead for a few days. Even though it has been cooled the entire time, it's still carrion. All meat is carrion, unless you're gnawing on a freshly killed cadaver that is still warm.

Well, I like to be honest with myself. I used to think of myself as an omnivore predator, but I realized today that I'm really just a carrion eater. I've never killed my own food. Except for salad, that is. I eat salad alive  I'm cruel like that.

SylKat, how would I be able to transfer the food you visually see into a form where you could eat it?
Maybe send it in a telekinetic form..
