I think I don't know who I am. I thought I knew. But the more I learn about autism, the more I think to myself...there is no one in here, except what I have put together for other people, specific situations. I much prefer being alone, but even alone, my brain is running like a radio, judging this, how would I explain that, does this show me to be the kind of person I want to be. On and on. And it is not like these are big things. It is: how I water the plants, or put my shoes on, or...every little thing.

I have thought about pregnancy recently.

Why people feel the need to divide every socio-group into little boxes/categories - is that not counter-intuitive in a sense, to achieving any kind of equality? If you are in a box/category, you are effectively in prison, in a meta sense.

Maybe they still hate me and because I am a little bit more socially powerful, they are pretending to be nice to me, to make me go away? They probably think being cruel has failed, so why not try the other option? Fml.

I guess I'm just a black guy with an unattractively large man thing, from their perspective.

That was bad timing.
And a bad idea.

I am sequestered in a hotel so I can have access to high speed internet. Next to the hotel, is the memorial for the five women killed in a bank shooting, two years ago this month, in this really rather small town.

I didn't know what it was. I just meandered over, drawn by the two large live oak trees and a fishing pier.

The bank was torn down after the shooting.

This is much too much a small town for it to remain open or reopen for business.

And then, today is the one year anniversary of January 6 assault on our Capitol.

And then the fire in Philly, with 8 children among the dead.

A lot of sadness.

Is it too early for champagne?

For a site that probably has poor ability to decode body and face language, i'm going to assume that is either 1. relief, 2. mildy flustered. or 3. shes thinking naughty thoughts. Somebody clue me in.
