It's mostly learning how to be what this system calls the dog. That role plays into my tendency to get physical. If I can force the defender in possession up against the boards I can usually also overpower them and force them to give up the ball. I'm also more comfortable taking the time to read where my teammates are so that I don't gain possession only to just turn it over to the other defender or an opposing forward who's backchecking.

Hopefully next season whoever I'm playing with won't leave me hanging in those situations because there were a few times this season where I guess it didn't seem too likely I'd succeed so the other two forwards would be up in the neutral zone and not really in a position to capitalize on me flushing the ball out. If they're not there it's kind of a waste of time because another defender will just end up taking the ball. I can't really flush it to myself.

A thunderstorm started just a few minutes ago.  The outdoor temperature has already dropped from about 32°C to about 22°C (about 90°F to about 72°F).

The air is cooler, cleaner, and easier to breathe than it was before the storm started.

And our cat just wants to cuddle.
