I would rub their pictures all over my ... bookshelf.
Make up fantasies about them singing songs to me.

My first crush was a boy in foster care. He gave me his dirty sweatband from his wrist (think: tennis)
I wore it for like six months without taking it off.

Then I snapped out of idealising people - except for the amazing ones that are better than life itself because they answer all my dreams and complete me and fix all my problems with one glance across a crowded room or even a chat room, and they bring out the best in me and make me feel beautiful and provide customer service because that's more important than if I actually like them./s

So is the platitude "Today is the first day for the rest of your life" or is it "Tomorrow is the first day for the rest of your life" ?

Internet says John Denver and its today. The problem is today has already begun, so I missed most of it already? Can't be tomorrow because tomorrow is free beer day. So do we have to wake up at 11:59 and say the platitude to make it work, and then we can go back to sleep? Why does it have to be so difficult.

Issy is right, take some deep breaths and go meet this woman. What's the worse thing that can happen? You were looking before and if she says no, you are still looking but now you know where not to look.
