What's a Chippy?


I believe it is a generic English term for a take away food outlet serving battered fish, battered hot dogs, hot chips/fries etc..

Cabbage and potato and ham and lentil soup/potage. Mmmm!

Steak, Chicken Cord..Bleu, mashed potatoes with gravy, peas and corn (with a diet pepsi to drink)...i love steak night on the FOB!!

Lunch:

turkey sandwich on toasted wheat bread with melted colby jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo and mustard. vegetable soup. a banana. and homemade trail mix consisting of granola, pretzels, nuts, potato crisps and indian spices.

Duck with roast potatoes, carrots and parsnips, plus mountains of red cabbage cooked in apple and grape juice with garlic, olive oil, butter, and honey, and served with lots of fresh chopped parsley. :)
