What is the significance of Alan Watts being alcoholic?
Does that negate him?

Good question...
It's just a fact that sticks out in my mind...an association
I was surprised when i heard it...
Some people may use it to negate him
It does cast a shadow on the whole enlightened person who has his s**t together kinda image...
YA know...
(Hes very good, as an introduction to zen philosophy.)

What's on my mind ?
"The Many Saints of Newark."
So I was talking about "pwhoar factor" with this woman
Amongst other things
Then on to 'Peaky Blinders'
She a fan of show
Then i mention the actress who died..
I'm like " oh I bet that cast a morbid shadow over the thing"
she like "oh it never bee the same
"I was devastated"
Then i mention gandolfini dying
Atleast series ended before he passed.
She mentions he has a son
Who looks just like him
Huh?
So I'm searchin gandolfini son..
Seems there's something
Prequel..
People are panning it tho..
Missed opportunity

fck..would love a sequel to sopranos...
maybe tonys son grown up I was thinking...
But factor in gandolfini son...
They're all pretty old now.. .tho
Just checked
"Tony Sirico" lol
Still alive..
Amazing really...
Really would love a continuation of the series
Probably only be disappointment tho

Italians really are gaudy
If you watch that show
Something I noticed
Kinda like you Raleigh
You're not Italian are you? lol
(I admire the flashiness, i gotta admit, pendants, rolexes ,shirts etc)
Oh no , right you're scottish?(?) I think....
What is it with italians and fashion?
They seem to have the whole industry locked up.

That's enough of what's on my mind right now.

Alan watts tho...he's good. I like him. I don't have a problem with him. He's a good teacher. Even if he had substance abuse problems. May or may not. No it doesn't' detract from him. As an expounder of eastern thought.

Mom used a product call solar predator eyes that would flash red leds after dark to ward off the fox, cat, dog mammals. They are still working after five years.

No doubt.
50's he was kind of a counter cultural forerunner.
In the 60's i think everybody, of any kinda of rep, was on LSD.
Musicans, actors, politicans.
Even Kennedy rumored to have taken it in '63.
You posted something about Leary the other day.
JFK is mentioned in his 83 autobio "Flashbacks."
Conspiracy surrounds, a mutual freind who was murdered.
(I forget her name.)
James Jesus Angeleton. CIA. 1122. Nightmare on elm street.
Yeah...
LSD...
European invention.
(forget the country...netherlands..that area.)
1944...i think..maybe 1947.
..."Albert Hoffman." (took a few seconds, thought i wouldn't recall the name.)
Riding a bike one day.

...

Not an outdoors guy....
Well I am, I love nature...but
Sounds like you're a farmer... (Raleigh)
I wouldn't know anything about that...
Ya know what comes to mind...
Ken Kesey...

Thanks.

Perhaps because you are allowing yourself to relax and be vulnerable.

That's probably it. I haven't been able to relax for days, and when I do manage to it makes me feel like something bad is going to happen and I'm not prepared for it.

When you're walking around on your property and you find a large mound of dirt that's roughly person shaped.
To dig or not to dig?

I wear bright clothing on the property
So I can be found easily
In case of emergency
I flamboyantly don't want to die while people are trying to find me.
I carry a radio to base.
But still, with the lay of the land
It could be difficult.

When your partner gives you an anti-gravity-beanbag-Moonpod reading chaise for Valentine's, so you'll visit more.

Also assorted Brontë books from BPM.
