I'm struggling because I've not got my glasses to see and I'm in pain in my hands to type

Today I was forced to choose between the torture of joining a celebration of my father-in-law's 90th birthday (at a carnivore's restaurant, complete with some screaming brats) and the guilt feelings of giving it a miss. I've chosen the guilt feelings, but it was a painful choice.

I had a crash when I was skateboarding the other day

I'll be ok but I've taken all the skin off my hands and arms and I've not been able to open my mouth properly since Wednesday because my glasses dug into my head and it's affected my jaw but that's healing but I can't eat an apple still

My wounds are healing as well but I'm just taking it easy mate

I had to jump off my skateboard to avoid something quick and I didn't have time to do anything else at that time

I don't know how I lost my glasses. I keep thinking they're gonna turn up on top of my head or something

I found 20PLN banknote on bazaar and it somehow disappeared from my closed pocket. Now I'm questioning if I really found it or it was a weird illusion

bb and PL, hoping you both recover well.

Every possible thing has gone wrong today.

Woke up way too early and couldn't get back to sleep
Had to go buy more milk to eat my cereal. When I got back I discovered the milk had gone bad even though the date on the carton was 22 April. I knew i should go back but I hate that store and I was already angry and there was no way i was going back. Threw some expletives in their direction and went back to sleep
Slept several hours longer than I needed to and wasted a lot of the day
My aunt and I were planning to go buy clothes for me today but when I called her she was depressed again. That made me really sad and I sat on my bed and was unhappy for a while until I finally decided I should go outside
The day pretty much went downhill from there

It's really a waste because there's nothing i have to do and the weather is perfect but all I can do is sit inside and be miserable. I don't easily give up on a day, usually I keep fighting all the way to the end to try and improve it, but I don't think there's any way this day can be saved. I want to go to bed now but I can't so I guess i'll just stare mindlessly at my laptop screen.

You can always go on a walk. (At least for me) it helps recover good mood and/or kill spare time.
