Flying cars. Nobody has a job because manual labor has been replaced by robots. Possibly being able to store your entire memory on something similar to an SD card. If that sounds good to you, bear in mind that the government has access to it. I imagine mind control might even be possible by then, and maybe even some kind of technology-based form of telepathy. Every form of technology that could possibly exist probably will by then. Satellite imagery like Google Earth will be more advanced, and live to. As a result, there probably won't be any privacy as anyone can sit at their home computer or tap on their tablets and see exactly what you're doing at that very moment.
I could come up with a lot more, but I'd be here all day. I can imagine a lot of things will happen in that huge span of time. If advancements in technology continue on the same trajectory it's been on, there's no telling what will happen. So much has happened in just the last 200 years, it's mind boggling to think about the next 1,000.
Another possibility we can't ignore is an apocalypse. It's always a possibility that something may cause life on Earth to cease to exist as we currently know it.
Any more thoughts on the previous question?
