Not really. I can actually talk myself out of feeling the extreme cold. I did once, anyway. I walked through sub zero temperature in Iowa and told myself I was on a sunny Caribbean beach. It worked till I got to the guitar store.

If Trump wins, which country would you evacuate to?

^I'm going to New Zealand, although I suppose I could stay in Canada if I wanted to, which I don't.
What do you think monsters are?

Allegorical creations to keep children from straying too far (werewolves, evil faeries, Abominable Snowman, etc) or enemies from attacking your country (Vlad the Impaler), or tourist traps (Loch Ness monster).

In Trinidad & Tobago our folklore creatures/monsters are jumbies, soucouyant, Laja'blesse, etc. What about where you live?

Well, The Fountain of Youth is a common piece of Folklore from where I currently reside  Though, there are other myths & folklore that I've heard and read about from where I grew up at.

What do you enjoy about your neighborhood?

The town I live in his approx. 1.5 sq miles in size. There is only one main drag through town; the rest of the streets are houses, schools, churches, parks, etc. The population here is 11,000. To the north and south are lakes; to the east and west are highways. Everything is within walking distance - the food bank, the library, the health center, the restaurants, the gay and music clubs, the 24 hr supermarket, etc. The people who live here are pretty well behaved; the criminal element you do see are riff raff stragglers from adjoining towns. I do my best to keep the town clean since I'm here 99% of the time. Yeah, I'm homeless, but the citizens or police don't bother me.

Do you have a summer bikini/swimsuit body?

No, I never have in fact, my physical form results in people making caustic remarks or expressred

redrobin62, do you honorably mind if I ask you how you came to be homeless without being disrespectful sir?

I have a long history of homelessness, from Trinidad to the U.S. I'm just a misfit, an outsider. Every place I've been I was just a square peg trying to fit into a round hole. Even during my days of drinking and drugging I didn't even fit in with the addicts. About three years ago my rent went up from $850/mo to $1000/mo. I couldn't afford that, but at the same time, I had an incredible inflammation of gout in my legs and feet which didn't permit me to walk, so I had to leave my nursing job. I've been homeless ever since. I have been offered some low income housing in downtown Seattle, but because of my long drug history, and knowing all the drug spots in downtown Seattle, I choose to stay in a safer North Seattle neighbourhood. Yes, it means I sleep in my car but at least I'm clean. This town is fully wired for internet, too, like right now. I'm on a bench in the street and connected to Comcast. Can't complain.

Is your area wired fully for internet access?

Yes, I applied for SSD but was turned down. I don't mind, though, because I prefer being homeless in my car. At least I'm not isolated as if I was in my own apartment. Isolation=depression=death. To me, anyway. I'm a musician, too. Check out these live videos. https://seattlewordsmith.wordpress.com/reviews/ I'm the lead guitarist.

I don't know how old I was when I started to speak. Really, my father was so abusive you dared not speak around him anyway lest you want to kiss your teeth goodbye. I also just published a new novel, too. https://www.amazon.com/COMMONER-VAGABON ... 1_1&sr=8-1 I said all that to say being homeless doesn't put a damper on my creativity. As long as there is free wifi around here and a library I'm okay. Thanks for asking. Good luck with your studying.

Which do you prefer - Chinese, Japanese, Vietnamese, Korean or Thai cuisine?

I'll go with Japanese, since I love noodles.
What do you think of Joseph Campbell?

I had to Google Joseph Campbell. I'd never heard of him or comparative mythology till now. Because his life work is so long and complex, I can't render an opinion of him at this time. I did notice he was influential, though.

Are you one of those people that, if there's a fireworks display going on somewhere, sign you up?

When fireworks are around, I'm in my room under a blanket.
Did you watch Scooby-Doo as a kid?
