What is your idea of alien life on another planet?

most likely one of two things.

1) less developed than us. vast majority being unicellular, protozoans, simple alga and stromatolites. no land animals or modern vascular plants.

2) beings higher up on the proposed kardashev scale than us, type II civilizations or above capable of harnessing the powers of multiple solar systems or even galaxies. earth may already be within their "jurisdiction" and we may have no way of knowing.

Nah, I only cut my bangs but if I would try to cut my whole hair it would not turn out good...

I used to. I first got involved when an old friend introduced me to Sailor Moon, then I moved on to Akira, Blood, Ranma 1/2 and so on.

No WP works fine for me so it must be user error.

If you were alone on a desert island with nothing but a kitten and some fishing hooks and line, would you eat the kitten or try to use it as bait to catch a big fish?

I'd try to catch fish some other way, or find other food. I'd eat the kitten if it was my last option, and use pieces of it as bait until I ran out.
