Cut down tree
Tree got stuck in fork of another tree when it fell.
Dragged tree around until it snapped free.
Took out a stump.
Cleaned up branches.
Planted leeks.
Made trellis.
Trimmed trees

drove to hardware store thinking it was a common part, will return tomorrow with a list
watched birds today: cardinals, black-crested titmouse, redtail hawk, blue jay, mockingbird, black vulture, yellow-rumped warbler, mourning dove
ate some chocolate
took a shower
dealt with fungi on feet
irked that f*****g do-gooder list maker
got to type tits and rumps in the same sentence

edit: Filled pickup's fuel tank

Dug a new hugelkulture mound
Rolled logs into position for garden edging
Tidied up around the place
Lifted some pavers
Salvaged some star pickets and water pipe
Pulled out lantana

My method is to use a machete to cut some limbs off (usually a cheap Cold Steel/Tramontina thing, which I put my own edge on as the factory edges suck), to gain access to the central area then just kick the root system loose with my boots. This is for the bigger stuff. I might just do it this way because it gives me an excuse to use an edged tool though.

Brush cutting for me today, which will take about 4 afternoons instead of 1 as battery powered stuff sucks (I save the guzzolene for the mower).

I usually use loppers to work my way in, then grab a likely branch and walk with it until the roots come out. The sandy soil doesn't give them a foothold unless they're around rocks or fencing.
I like edged tools too but I'm very fond of my reciprocating saw.

Burnt the firestick plant.
It actually does sound like firecrackers when you burn it.

Groceries. The supplies are still dwindling, albeit most of the necessities are there to some extent. Still amused with the panic buying, but I understand. Two years of relatively nothing, but also that fear the majority would have felt over those years, and then the government says it's all cool, nothing to worry about, go about your business, as if it's all normal again. That invisible monster is still there for them. Humans can't just switch the fear off like that and go from one extreme to the other so quickly.

Still annoyed that the vulnerable are being sacrificed for plane tickets, nightclubs or something.

Dug out rat's tail
Carved out a tree trunk, figure I'll plant something in it
Put some netting around the rockmelon patch
Cut some reeds to dry

Diligently doing nothing much of anything, but did get myself fed, visited with a friend over dinner , exchanged presents saved from Christmas time. Do the difficult circumstances put upon both of us.
