Joburg, is one weird place. It's like many cities all jumbled into one, all distinct and yet, somehow able to be a single unit. You have to live here to understand.

Heres a link though if you wanna know more....

Do you have a garden? And if so how do you look after it?

Yes I do. I obsess over my garden all the time, ignore some job and home responsibilities so that I can take care of it, and go out after dark with a flashlight to work in it, because that is often the only free time I have. Plants are the material of intellect and emotion and spirit to me. Working in my garden is a Holy activity. I feel most vibrantly alive in the garden.

I grow fruit trees, ornamental trees, herbs, vegetables, cacti and succulents, shrubs, perennials, and random annuals. Subtropical Florida permits a wide variety of things to grow. The garden has an abstract plan based on geometry and the cultural requirements of the plants. It is my obsessive and incomplete attempt at recreating a botanical garden at home.

My garden may just as well be another family member. That is how I look after it.

Do you consider yourself technologically adept? Why or why not?

No I'm definately not technologically adept. Why? Well I suppose I am a novice when it comes to the really technical things. I know the basics but thats it.

Is there any slightly infamous personality from the past or present that you have a liking towards?

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

Not really, the strange faces and postures of animals in those pictures give me the creeps sometimes. Liked this one, thou. But that's because of the art that reminded me of Toulouse-Lautrec's etches or printmakings.

Understood the question but couldn't come up with anyone, myself, IwB.... but what famous personality from the past, most people like, but you simply do not?

On me? When trying to sleep (not so much in summertime) it is nice but.... in general or more abstract seen, I cannot say I do. No.

Do you, like me maybe, dislike it when things, clothes mostly but also a watch or a ring, are tight? (too tight around you)

Absolutely. I cannot wear a watch or a ring or even a hat for very long. Irritates the heck out of me. Shoes and socks get bothersome after awhile too. I try to avoid any tight-fitting clothes. Getting a bit uncomfortable just thinking about all this uncomfortableness...

Do you celebrate Mardi Gras? If so, please explain how.

Not in a long time.
Although I used to remember them quite often.
I'm attributing this to my recent chronic lack of sleep.

.

Do you feel that you are an organized person? Explain.

It depends on the room in the house and the function of it. My kitchen and bathroom are organized. The family room leaves a little to be desired. My bedroom is completely unorganized and bugs the heck out of me but I haven't the time nor energy to deal with it right now. I'm very organized about things I love. If it doesn't mean much to me, I put less effort in keeping it neat and clean. This is a trait that about myself that annoys me.

Do you like going on road trips?

On my bike or moped, yeah, with nice weather, a lot but in a car? No, I do not really. I'm weird and I do not like driving in a car. Sitting next to.... 'cos I've got no drivers license. Tried it 20 years ago but it felt.... tjah, no a thing that fits me, or something. All is way to overwhelming. Train, moped, bike and walking is more my thing and I'm cool with that.

Do you own something with two wheels only?

Last Sunday, I had to be at work at 7:00 am sharp. It was 5:55 AM - almost too late to catch the 6 AM train. This meant one thing: unlock bike, roll onto Main st., run past the 3 red lights. boy was i there quick.

what time do you have to be at work?
