Today I found a copy of a book on Ian Dury at the bookshop today and I got it in a heartbeat. He's an incredible musician and a big inspiration for me. His song "Spasticus Autisticus" is a personal anthem of mine, and a big middle finger to ableists and people who patronise folks like us. The song might not be everyone's cup of tea, but the story and the message behind it is very important and special to me.

I just won in a writing contest :D My children's short story entitled "Unhappy Frog" will be read aloud in the "Literary Voice" radio, in the "Listen to Ania" program, together with some other chosen short stories like that :D If my story turns out to be the best one, it will be printed in a children's book :D

Oh I wish you all the very best on your interview

I always used to tell my daughter to "look sharp"

I used to say this because I have no other advice so LOOK SHARP!

Didn't get in trouble for fighting beyond the 10 minutes of penalties assessed.

Also don't need to bring beer again all season, apparently I've paid my dues via another method.

I don't know that it made me happy exactly but I went to the dentist which is a huge fear of mine. It didn't really make me feel better about going back though as it felt like I barely could stand it. But I suppose it still counts as a victory.
