WRC and BTCC are both ditching hybrid systems for proper ICE only drivetrains. :heart:

even though i unintentionally put my phone in the washing machine, it still works.

the Covered CA counselor told me i had to get documents for proof of citizenship. and i panicked. thank buddha my sister told me where they were.

I don't believe hybrids contribute to saving fuel in this context, they add power, weight, complexity and cost but don't reduce fuel consumption in any appreciable manner.

Since they don't contribute to any positive goal there's no point to having them.

I traced the source of the fishy smell coming from the kettle when it boiled water. It wasn't the kettle itself, it was the water container that collects filtered water that gets put into the kettle. Could only smell it when the water boiled. Disinfected the container, renewed filter cartridge, all's good now.

I also figured out how to get YTDLP (command-line utility for downloading YouTube videos) to download the video resolution of my choice instead of the default highest available resolution. Much easier than downsampling after the download has been done. Another skill in my video manipulation repertoire.
