I had a cavity filled at the dentist today. It wasn't pleasant, but I feel relieved that I have gotten it out of the way with.

Checking jobs off of my 'to do' list makes me happy.

It's snowing.

A month or two from now, that'll be in the unhappy thread, but for now I'm still enjoying winter.

have had (song below i'll put) on loop for the entire day. i think trance, D&B, ambient, downtempo or trip-hop in minor-key if done a certain way brings out a lot of nostalgia i have for PS1 and PS2 games. (the last two genres mentioned especially.) it's home to me! i find this remix very comforting:

i'm on about music a lot generally i think, i'd say all the time. lot of it i produce, too...but that's for its own thread i think.

Got christmas cards off my sister and her kids which I wasn't expecting.

My cousin turned 18 today, now my aunt won’t have to interact with her ex husband ever again now that they don’t share a minor child!

My son is actually getting a lot of schoolwork done today. Maybe he’ll be able to get caught up this weekend. Transitioning into cyber school hasn’t been easy.

Finally turned in my final project for my class which ended back on Tuesday.

I did about as well on my final as I could have--well enough to get an okay grade, but badly enough to demonstrate that the class was very badly taught and set up perfectly to minimize learning.

Then I went to a board game night and had a great time and met some interesting people and got free pizza

Also, I just now realized it's friday the 13th. This seems to confirm my conjecture that what's unlucky for everyone else is lucky for me.
I don't actually believe any of these superstitions but they're kind of a special interest so I still think about them a lot
