I'm tired, and I feel like crap. :( I just spent all last night trying to work on an art project I didn't know how to do, and now it turns out we weren't even supposed to do it yet.

I thought you had dropped art?

Everything I do lately seems to have frustrating complications.
Bought a new filtration unit.
Installed it; the tap leaks, from the top of the lever.
Called the company, they want to see the plumber's receipt before they do anything.
I installed it myself, because I already had the line, so it's as easy as screwing a few fittings together, why would you need a plumber?
And the tap would have leaked anyway, because it's not a fault with the plumbing but with the tap.
Called the store, they don't stock filtration taps.
Arrrgh!!

call 'em back, saying that you're the plumber and the tap is defective and you want a replacement. that you are entirely willing to send back the defective tap so they can see the problem for themselves.

But on a happy note, the kitchen is all together again.
Did the benchtops this week, replaced the splashback, etc.
Looking good, just need curtains.

Already tried that.
The warranty is void if not installed by a qualified plumber.
Pays to read the fine print.

^I think it has been Friday for a long time in Australia. Maybe that's why Raleigh has been having problems with the filtration unit.
