Finding out that two guys at work who have been caught on the cameras playing on their phones instead of working didn't get called into the office for a bollocking, but that I've been called into the office for a bollocking so many times and it has caused me so many visible panic-attacks and stress, just for little petty things. And it's not even favouritism, because the boss doesn't like the two guys at all as they keep having time off and turning up late. Maybe he just likes to pick on me because I'm a woman.

My knobhead neighbours telling their dog Bruno to lie down every minute of the day and evening.

Do they ever take Bruno out for a walk

If they do I haven't seen it. God knows where it goes for a crap.

They let the ones who they're scared of get away with stuff and they come down hard on the more compliant ones

They think it makes them look like they're managing

Well I've often had a panic attack right in front of him and swore and kicked things too (I don't really mask at work), so it's not like I take it passively.
It's just that our boss is the sort that does everything by the book and if you have cut corners or something then he lets you know about it, whoever you are. But he seems to be letting the two guys off lightly even though he really hates when people look at their phones during work time. He was angry with them but didn't call them in to his office like he does me. He just ranted to a colleague about them.

Well I still feel I am, because of the way he deals with me with me Vs with other people. Maybe he enjoys watching me have a panic attack, although he doesn't look like he's enjoying it, as he gets stern and cross when I do.

Yeah I can see how that must be difficult

I used to have a boss who was like that with me but I just think he liked shouting at me

It didn't bother me like it does you though but it just used to make me jump because he used to shout my name from across the warehouse and I was nothing more than a kid

He stopped doing it in the end because a couple of the lads started doing impressions of him doing it so it just turned into a joke

You'd be surprised at how many people will notice if someone's treating you unfairly you know

I slept about 2 hours last night.

This couple above me are seriously bad news. Control freaks and wind up merchants.

I think it's just in their nature. EVERYONE that walks past looks at their window (which is always open with them making a load of noise).

Yeah it must be their way mate

It's hard innit because on one hand you wanna just get along with people but then on the other hand how can you when they're making your life a misery
