That's what I'm doing too, though the council said it's unlikely they'll give us anything because we're already in adequate housing, even though we've stated all our issues in the application (horrible noisy neighbours, rent too expensive for our financial circumstances, both have health conditions - my partner has physical health problems and I have mental health problems and noise sensitivity). Apparently these aren't reasons to be given a council flat. So unfair. I'm bidding every week in the hope that one day we might get lucky.

Yeah that's the best you can do really

Good luck with it though
It's so difficult to get a flat

Are you looking for one or two bedrooms

One-bedroom, although I'd prefer two bedrooms as I need a "hoarding room".

We do sleep in the same bed but I still think it's stupid to be automatically assumed that we share a room just because we're a couple. I mean some couples might need to sleep in separate rooms.

I know what you mean
Me and my daughter share a two bed but we could do with an extra room to just dump everything in

It's gotta be easier to get a one bed though

Hopefully it should be easier to get a one-bedroom but I suppose they're all reserved for homeless people, which I can understand but I still wish they'd give us one, preferably on the top floor so that there'll be nobody living above. Most noise I can actually tolerate but the sound of feet moving about above just hurts my head for some reason, even if it is darling little children, it's all sensory-aggravating to me and I shouldn't have to live with it. Home is where the heart is, after all.

I have uphill at everything recently, and today it seems I'm only capable of doing stuff that doesn't require working brain

Whenever I look on Indeed for jobs available in the city I live in it always comes up with engineering, care work, 10-hour cleaning jobs, delivery drivers, manager jobs, or 0 matches found. How am I supposed to get a simple job that doesn't require many skills and hours of around 25-35 a week? Why is this so f*****g impossible? There must be jobs out there, and I live in a city, not out in the sticks.

No, too many rules, double standards and nitpicking.
