I'm sitting on a heating pad. It feels nice.

Sensing my head isn't a problem.
Or my arms or my legs. So does my hands, feet and fingers...

It's my torso. My trunk. From my chest to my belly and my whole back.
I can feel clothing and the weight but... It's not enough.

When it comes to Autism and sensory sensitivities, my torso is the most bothersome too. Hypersensitive in my case. I don't like wearing much on such or anything too heavy, it's constricting by weight. I'm alright with heavier things if they're just draped over my shoulders and around me or a typical loose blanket. It's not unbearable, just uncomfortable.

Wind, wind, go away, knock down trees another day. Interesting that it's not really any colder with such. I guess the direction counts, as usual.

I'm such an Echoist that it's embarrassing. :|

Even with the slightly chilly weather, the skies have been blue, which is nice.

I'm overthinking and I know it but I'm unable to stop...

I'm participating in a federal advisory panel about Autism and medicine / law in the morning.
I totally forgot the notes I wanted to prepare.
I'm gonna be hung over but I'll blame it on insomnia. :jester:

Why is it my earlobe hole always itches when wearing earrings???

It doesn't matter what metal was used -- gold, silver... 'Nickel-free'... Heck, I even get a reaction from strings.
I'd get a reaction within an hour less.

It's been like that since I was around 10 or so.

Anyways.
I found an earring that's just weightless enough to handle my senses and aesthetics to my own fancy but...
The skin reaction. :?

Sewing.... Fixing things yourself.... Yeah, you're doing a good job there, Edna3362. :)

On that note, I fixed the sandal I mentioned here some time back that the bird was taking apart. I've been wearing the Crocs I bought more, though.

Looking forward to the Hold Out 3 I ordered (folding knife). Been a while since I've bought something that I don't really "need". I'll probably cut through a branch with it for fun too, as whilst it's a shorter blade, it's definitely broad enough for such. I'll carry it around the house and yard for several years as my main cutting tool. It'll hold up better than the Delica that I've carried for the same amount of time around such due to the stronger lock and thicker blade, but that was fine too (I broke the tip off that, but I fixed it all the same; it's just a little shorter).

High winds each night for the past several days. None during most of the day. :? Whatever, meteorology is magic to me, and it's something I don't bother learning, because I kinda like some things being mysterious. However, I suppose it's to do with the surface temperature of the ground rapidly cooling out in the hotter regions (might explain why it's mostly at night as the sunlight vanishing is an obvious change), or something like that. Magic.

Stuff.

Chair.
Preferably not just the plastic mass-produced kind.

I want something more permanent and that just says it's mine.
Something that just isn't easily "borrowed".

Either a chair I can meditate with, or a chair I can mess my posture around.
Whatever it is, it's not a bed.

Maybe a couch.
Maybe an office chair.
Next month or two, I may get it.

Why was it a bird is taking a sandal apart for? That's just unusual for me. :o

I'm wondering how I can continue coping.
That is, if I ever coped at all.

If I were to hazard a guess, but it's not really a guess in the end: he/she was stealing stitching and fabric for a nest, as I saw him/her move to and fro a tree from the right sandal. He/she only liked the right sandal for some reason or another, and I won't take a guess for that one. :? Anyway, hoping that bag repair went well for you. It's good fixing things.

Hiking. I can do such today, and it'll be mostly to check up on everything due to the high winds.

Everything feels like a dream. :| Unreal. It always does to some extent, but it's quite pronounced today.

Today I learned it takes over 45 mins of cycling to get out of the city from home.
As opposed to over 4 hours long of walking.

That and I've been out of the house for over 3 hours now. Spent most of those time cycling along the highway.
Looking for something that might interest me --- the chair I want is expensive, a few things available at the other city that I've yet to fully explore...
All I brought was a multi tool card and ate a little.

And carrying the helmet around is ehh...
That I sort of prefer my long shirt with leggings getup while at it.

Directly learned how to ask where to park a bike... Some guys are nice enough to notice some stuff about my bike for me...

My stamina's a bit OK though I'd worry more about my muscles... Even if I did 10 mins of warm-up.
That cycling several hours straight can get a bit boring even if one needing to concentrate.

That I better bring an hour long worth of listening material and just make up with good visual habit on the road. Also when I'm just feeling lazy, I'd start cycling one-handed.

And the fact that I have to drink lots and LOTS of water, that it's a wonder I hadn't been needing a toilet multiple times.
I've just been sweating it all.

Oh and...
Sunblocks. Just sunblocks. Even if summer's over, even if the late noon sun this season is more pleasant...

Got home. My feet and legs aren't as sore as walking for hours.
But my knees and my thigh are feeling the effort.
:o And just in time before it rained.
