I wish I could switch with you. However, it might not be the metabolism because I excrete relatively little and am rarely hungry. I think it's a problem somewhere else (digestion hormones?) because of the fact that I'm rarely hungry. Does exercise often make people hungrier?

Ok
So you'll age faster than normal but live a long time with a faster metabolism?
I would think it would be the other way around.

If only metabolisms were transferable. Well, do you eat a lot of fiber and protein? Those are the two most filling nutrients in food. That's the reason I eat so much, because it is a challenge for me to get those in. Maybe digestive hormones for specifically digesting those play a part as well. Too bad I don't eat yogurt. :? Yes. Exercise does because muscles burn more calories, and when you exercise more, you build more muscle. If you don't eat enough, then your body will eat into you muscles and make you weak. Plus, there is a certain amount of calories necessary for living, exercise obviously burns calories...and your body wants more to fill that gap. (that is a theory of my own, I haven't read enough to support it, but it makes sense according to my logic).

Faster metabolism=faster aging=faster death (That's why I get a bit morbid from time to time, even though I've lived only about 20% of my expectancy)

Hmm, so maybe I should exercise.

DMV doesn't allow permit tests after 4:00 PM, and they're not open on Saturdays.

Oregon, you confuse me. :/

Not necessarily. Because a fast metabolism is usually a sign of good health and would lead to slower aging. Meh, I've almost died many times...when I die, I will be ready...but until then, I have a purpose, and I'm not gonna obsess about it because it's pointless. Sometimes I think about death and stuff, but even then, I know I am supposed to be here.

Maybe. :D I'm gonna go fail at running now.

Meh, I'm tried right now, so my form is gonna be off. I am also maybe injured a bit. But thank you...I hope my body is just being stupid and not actually hurt/tired.

Plus, I have been slow lately. :(

Listening to my co-workers maliciously gossip... wish I didn't have to eat in that room

Why do you have to eat in there?

And if it is necessary, have you tried bringing an ipod or mp3 while you eat lunch?

My throat is sore.
And I have to go to sleep soon. I don't like the transition, I get sooo restless, even with medication :(

I'm a nurse on a critical care floor; it is for sanitary reasons and consideration for patients who cannot eat for one reason or another... my mp3 wouldn't fly...they'd just try to talk to me even more

I have an interview in a few days to try and transfer to a cardiothoracic ICU...I think I would like it. More men usually work in ICUs and you are so busy that no one really has time for gossip. Suits my mind fine; I really can't stand being idle; I'd rather be in the room with a sedated, intubated patient, the mistress of a small realm of controlled, scientific chaos :D
