I got a Xiaomi touch speaker, cheap and beautiful.
I started living alone in a rented house, and my quality of life was much better than that of an eight-person dormitory.

It wasn't today, but I thought this was the best spot for my contribution:

For the first time in my life, I love coffee. Maybe not every coffee and maybe its just the really delicious kinds of coffee they make at Starbucks. I've only tried 3 coffees and, so far, its just been Starbucks that I love. So, one day a week ago...
I was traveling cross country and its always a difficult drive going through Wyoming and Nebraska because its a long ways to get to the other side. Also, there are a lot of long stretches of highway where the landscape doesn't change a lot. And especially because, compared to anywhere else I've driven in the USA so far, truckers respect cars a lot less in WY and NB. Added to that, this year, I was driving in the winter and it was sooooo cold. Every time I needed to get out of the car it was hard and the roads were a bit scary in places.
So I finally reach the end of Nebraska and the weather has warmed up to a toasty -7C/18F. It's sunny and I stop at the first Starbucks I've seen in a few days. After I pay for my drink, the barista says, we have extra free drinks today! We are training someone new who has to make all these coffees. Which free coffee would you like? I was thrilled to finally get my new favorite thing and now I get one for free also. Best surprise!

I ended up going to a health screening today and they were playing 80's dance music the entire time I was waiting. I loved it and even heard some songs I never heard before. I wish I could have recorded what they were so I could have looked them up.
