I can see how that would be a relief if you're in the USA. They make it horribly complicated. The UK does it much better unless you're self-employed. They just take the money at source and you don't even have to know there's such a thing as tax. Over here we have to hire an accountant and even then we have to do a lot of the work ourselves.

Made a new big batch of mashed taters and ate some. I hadn't had any for 3 days.

Downloaded a Facebook video of Rory Gallagher playing "Shadow Play" in Germany.

Ceased to feel faint.

Quite enjoyed the day's banter on WP. There were some jolly funny quips.

Found out that somebody's successfully sued Facebook to stop them giving them targeted ads, which opens the door for anybody to get FB off their backs. Don't need it myself because I've got ad-blocking plugins, but I strongly identify with people who hate targeted marketing so I'm happy for their sake. And anything that hurts Zuck gives me pleasure.

Figured out that I'll have ample time tomorrow to rehearse for my music performance that I'm planning to do that evening.

Thank you to whoever planted the many flowers along the border of the hiking trail today. They were a lovely surprise! Especially the asters and the daffodils. I don’t know the name of the purple wildflowers. I probably should look up their information.

It was like walking a magical fairy path. :)

Oh mate I had a fantastic time today
Skatepark and then I hill bombed it from Salford to as far as just before deansgate (said a prayer for a safe landing) I must have been doing 15 to 20 mph with no brakes :lol:

Home now

Lovely cup of tea and some telly and then spaghetti Bolognese

I mean it's a beautiful day as well. You can't whack it
