What's the story behind your avatar?

He is Swedish rock musician Tomas Ledin, my celebrity crush and favourite male musician. The photograph was taken in 1979/80 when he was 27/28. He is now 64 and still gorgeous. He is the son of a headmaster and his paternal grandmother founded the first women's labour movement in Sweden. His parents are still alive and he is the only man I would 'go sexual' for.

Who would you most like to duet with?

I guess tomatoes because they're so versatile. I eat them like apples and puree them to make my own spaghetti sauce, marinara, pizza sauce, tomato soup, pasta fagioli and so on.

Have you ever heard of pasta fagioli?

A gumbo-like soup made from pasta, beans (usually red kidney), tomatoes and spices like basil and oregano. It was actually the food of choice for poor Italians because those ingredients were readily available. Now, even fancy Italian restaurants create their own version. Kind of like congee, a rice soup from China, Vietnam and other Asian countries. The peasants made it from the only things they had available - rice - and spiced it up with scallions, sesame oil and so on. Yes, chefs in fancy Asian restaurants create their own version of congee, some adding meat or tofu.

Have you ever heard of the Rape of Nanking?

Yes. Though I don't know much of the historical context, I have heard of what happened. And I sincerely hope that nothing like that ever, ever happens again.

It... is a shame.

What is your favorite food?

Although I don't eat it anymore, I did like Peking Duck.

Do you know the difference between gay and queer?

Gay is a man who likes men or a woman who likes women.

Queer is someone who neither identifies as a male or female, sort of a third gender even if they still have the parts of a male or female. The pronouns they prefer are "they" or "their", not "he", "she", "hers" or "his."

Androgynous means you have the parts of both a male and a female.

Britain left the EU because they want better control of their borders without the EU getting involved. Good or bad idea?

I'll do my best here to say that, yes initially there is going to be some rough it not great hardship over the course of a year possibly 2.However, I think there might be some positives in the long term though, this is speculation on my part only. In fact, I don't think all of the European countries should have ever been made to adopt the euro, as I found it unique to have individual currencies from each nation which in my eyes was a symbol of individuality sorts. Never less it's going to be difficult to say what path or outcome occurs 1-10 or more from now.

Is there a lgbt community in your township?
