Stiff neck

Having failed to open an on line account with Free mobile, Electricité de France, and both of my banks and my pension providers, I hoped for better things from my assurer, but no; the usual mix of shifting me to another topic, or asking for my pass word when I’m trying to open a new account, or telling me my client number isn’t valid, until finally throwing up a “sorry, we are having technical problems” flag.

Why is this so difficult, on any site, let alone for a service provider who already know just about anything about me they could wish for?

My family, as is too often the case.
I've had a one cup coffee maker for years that's now on the fritz (either due to age, or, more likely, my family's rough handling of it) and have been having to make coffee on the stove instead. This... has not been going very well. It takes more resources than using a coffee maker with having to clean the pan every time. Pouring it from the pan into the cup without making a mess is difficult and I've yet to figure out a way to properly filter it so I don't end up with a bunch of grounds. I've tried everything in our house that I thought might work and it hasn't. So, I asked one of my family members if we still had our old coffee pot (it was a 12 cup and got put away in favor of the 1 cup since I was the only one that drank coffee back then) because making it on the stove wasn't working well. She said she didn't know and snidely asked "You don't like to adapt and overcome?"
She just has such a knack for pissing me off. Always knows exactly what to say to strike a nerve. First, the dictionary defines adapt as "make something suitable for a new use or purpose; modify" which I have already been trying to do. I've run out of things to try adapting at this point and I don't have money to get more things to try (or, you know, just a new coffee maker). And, fyi, a lack of money isn't something one can just "overcome". Legally, at least. Second, if we have another coffee maker in the house already then what the h*ll is so wrong with using it instead of doing it some weird difficult way? Why continue to use extra resources, time and effort for sub-optimal results if there's a better option?

I was checking the Build-a-Bear website in case they had something I'd like to get for Christmas, and I thought the toys were expensive before. The prices have shot up like crazy.

No stuffed animal with an outfit is worth over $150, not including delivery fees, unless it can clean my apartment or cook meals.

It's all because of the orange dictator and his brain dead trumparasites. A lot of people can barely even afford food now. Where's Robin Hood when you need him?

Falling asleep in front of a computer and getting told off by library staff about it.

Feel upset with myself for not liking a lot of Foster's songs that are slow and poetic. They're all wonderful songs, don't get me wrong, but unfortunately my ADHD brain can only handle fast songs. That's why I like his minstrel songs, because they're fast and catchy.

Snow Storm today

Burnt my mouth on soup.

I needed a shower when I woke up this morning.

Flat tire, learned I may have to find a new apartment and move again, the general state of the world and my increasing inability to relate to or trust other people.

I hate doing the washing I do
