Right after I suppose, but I'll have to be on wheels since I can't really manage crutches. No more walks for awhile. That's why I picked this time of year when it's lousy weather.

What's the surgery for? Is it to help you walk better?

Well it was a 19 hour operation requiring 8 surgeons and I died twice....

Actually in a blue cast that goes up to my knee. Getting around the house is going to be the real chore.

Good to hear you pulled through, Ezra. Everyone needs you to give the advice needed, but not always wanted. This all the more proves to me that you're here for a reason, you're an example to us all.

For some reason others I've seen who had similar surgery had bright green casts. So I asked for a blue one.
