I'm keeping my Sid from Flushed Away toy. As much as I like the 60s, I was born in the 70s. To me, Sid represents the 70s. :O)

I can feel Sandman creeping up from behind me. It won't be long before I go to bed.

The cut guitar strings I recently removed from my guitar a few days ago that lay on my coffee table :?

I had the strings on my guitar since I bought it about a year ago after immediately getting it adjusted for me... I play a lot, and heavily without a fear of having to replace strings... I do bend strings like there's no tomorrow >_>. However, I never broke a string and figured I should replace them due to old age.

When I cut them off, I suddenly realized they were the only set of strings on my guitar that I had used to play for and play along with my former girlfriend, and that I bought that guitar at the beginning of our relationship so they lived most of the whole duration :(

I can't help but think it ridiculous of me... but I can't make myself throw them away :?. So now I have essentially about 12 pieces of useless and sharp scrap wire staring at me on my coffee table because of saddening sentiment :|

hmm maybe I will put off applying for SSI till after I schedule the normal physical check up thing at this cheap/free place for people with little or no money....so basically a doctors appointment and go to that. Then I will inquire about mental health services there if they don't know of any I'll schedule an appointment at the one I planned to go to but never made an appointment for.

Then after that I could apply, I mean maybe I should apply now but I have to go in and do it physically...and for now one thing at a time is quite enough.

Hmm, Labour Day this year falls on the 1st of October. I don't wanna waste that by having leave during it (no leaving loading on public holiday), so I'll take a week off the week before, late September.
