I went to a very noisy, stimulating event today. It was great but I wasn't ready for it, sensorily speaking. I am going to crash quite hard. It doesn't make me unhappy exactly, just... oh a bit wrecked, I guess.

I wonder what this overwhelm/burn-out looks like for others.

First I cry.

Then I go blank.

Then I start talking absolutely at random - not sentences but words and phrases.

Then I cry.

Then I go blank.

Then I crash for at least few days. No energy, limited sensory processing/filtering.

We had snow all night. I cleared the walks and part of the driveway. I had to come in and it started showing again.
Such is life.
BUT
What made me unhappy was I was playing Civilization 7 (happy), with my sons (still happy), I was losing, as usual (indifferent), the sons are doing well (happy).
Then the power in there neighbourhood went out. No electric heaters (unhappy), no internet (unhappy), and therefore no computers (unhappy).
I through the snow part in because I sympathise with cecilfienkelstien.

Now I am grumpy UNHAPPY because the new snow looks a tad slushy.
I have an electric snowblower and it does not like slushy heavy snow.
My back likes it less.

I needed a shower when I got up as I usually do. It would be nice to have just one morning that I don't need a shower.

My sister keeps antagonising me by saying my interest in Abigail is unhealty. It’s really irritating, since it isn’t, but I can’t exactly explain to her that my interest in Abigail saved me from a totally delusional obsession with another character who I was convinced was real somehow and was making me hate everyone around me and be sad all the time, so I usually just say ‘no it’s not’ >:(((((((((( It really isn’t though! Although she’d probably think being fictoromantic is unhealthy so I doubt anything I say would even matter to her

And she keeps saying that there are people who love Abigail more than I do and it really upsets me because I’m non-sharing with Abby (and I KNOW I love her the most, or atleast I’d like to think so), she just keeps reminding me of my doubles, like, STOP IT!!  I have nobody else to hangout with though since I have no friends irl

Probably not the worst of my problems but it’s upsetting me so much because I hate thinking about my doubles or the fact that anyone else views Abigail as their wife or girlfriend, I don’t like it and she keeps bringing it up to me like stop omg

There's alot of snow outside and our steps are icy. Because of this I almost fell down the steps several times the one time I went outside today. Aside from that, it's very cold outside and very hot inside. Instead of leaving the thermostat at a nice decent temperature and trusting it to maintain that nice decent temperature in the house one of my family members keeps cranking it super high. It shouldn't feel like the middle of summer inside our house in the middle of winter.

Still no sign of any income from my books, thought they’ve been available on Kindle for over 6 months. It’s always possible that none have sold, but the target market (oldies looking to get fitter) is hardly small, especially having been translated into 12 languages!

I tried the “contact us” button, with no great expectations of being put through to a human being, but this time, I did at least find an option that was reasonably appropriate. I await a response with abated breath!

I had to drop out of the Christmas decorating at my clubhouse. The staff takes for granted that everyone likes the new Christmas music and it's blaring. I've retreated into my own little country and gone onto WP and I'm listening to traditional German Christmas music. If I have to listen to English Christmas songs, they would be the ones from the 40s to the 80s.

I also needed a shower when I got up. I've had since 2007 to get used to that.
