It's not fair. My sister now has to work every weekend, rather than just alternate weekends, because the woman who done the alternate weekend to her has demanded to get every weekend off because she has a granddaughter - even though she's been a grandmother for years with several other grandchildren. My sister has a 16-month-old daughter that she has to keep finding a babysitter for every weekend now, which is usually our aunt. But our aunt still has to work full-time and now all her weekends are taken up with babysitting. My sister's husband has always worked every weekend, but it's not fair that my sister has to now too, when they've got a baby, while the colleague gets every weekend off because she has an eighth or ninth grandchild. Also I don't get to see my sister really any more, as the only time we can come is weekends, and I don't get to see my aunt much either without the little one in tow. Nothing against the little one, I love to see her too, but she's the clingy, demanding type and you can't really talk with her there because she just cries for attention all the time and doesn't like being out of her home or around people she isn't familiar with.

This is why I freaked out when my sister was first pregnant. I really didn't want what's happening now to happen. I think it's due to losing my mother and so we view our aunt as a replacement, but she's rather preoccupied with the baby now and I don't feel as close as I used to be. It might be why I've become rather emotionally dependant on my husband and the people I work with, because I see them more than I see my own family these days.

Oh I'm sorry about that Tamaya. It's regrettable that you can't see your family more, especially since you've been under so much stress.

Will you be able to get in a decent amount of time with them over Christmas?

Probably not with my sister, as she works at a care home. I'm going on Sunday to give presents, but my aunt will be babysitting.

Seriously, I don't think mothers should work until their child starts school at least. They should be able to afford to stay at home with their young, while the wage the father brings home should cover all the bills.
I know that's old-fashioned but it's still my perfect idea of a society. Gender means nothing now. Everybody's got to be symmetrically equal.

The two parcels I was supposed to get two days ago that were delayed because of "bad weather" were supposed to arrive today, and they haven't. It's been clear and mild out the past two days.

I wore a mask to the bank and then to the mall today because of the flu pandemic (they're not calling it a pandemic yet, but it will be and thousands of people will die). The mask made it harder for me to see and breathe properly. I was going to bring a can of Lysol with me, but I was worried enough people would think I was weird or already infected for wearing a mask. And the crowds were just unreal. But I needed to go to the bank because my card was canceled on me when I couldn't remember my PIN last week, and I had to go get it renewed. And I did find some decent bargains at the mall.

Anxiety

Got a letter telling me my library book was overdue: “The Underground Railway” as if the tunnel and trains really existed; I lost interest very quickly, and set it aside to be forgotten. Strangely Mr Obama provided a cover note. Ah well, 2€50 down the drain!

Then I came up with a fiendish plan; I’d donate some of my own books as a substitute, but was told they already had a full quota (but they waived the fee anyway).

One of these flicked into my thongs(flip flops) and stabbed me.
I found the others embedded in the sole.

I broke my favourite ceramic mug yesterday D: It's pretty and green with branches and darker leaves and a bee and a nice white flower on it. I'll be honest I'm kinda totally sad about it, but I'm sure it can be fixed, I can put it back together without any glue or it falling apart so it's okay.

My sister also calling Abigail a b***h. (And me. But mainly Abby. >:T) And calling Haley a b***h too. And saying Abby was mean and a cheater when she isn't. She isn't! And when I explained the story to her she just mocked me as if I was desperately trying to explain the situation when that wasn't the case.
(Oh, and also her constantly bringing up how I don't go to school. AND my ugly yellow gappy teeth. They're out of my control and she knows it.)

I could quite happily strangle my neighbours above at present. They've kept me awake all night and are still going laughing away. Idiots.

At least you are not putting them in the gas oven, as one neighbour of mine once did!

Actually, it’s a regular issue; most NTs equate how something is normally done with the only correct way, when, quite often, it isn’t the best.

Example:I once got a lot of stick for using my spring file the wrong way, when the way most people do it requires moving across the bulk of your papers, to get at the most recent sheet (the one you want to work on) when using the binder “up side down” gets you straight there!

It was quite gratifying that most of the class then adopted my way of doing it (but not the loud mouth power freak who thought he was going to bolster his standing by trying to show me up!). It was also a good indication of how ambition often works: Identify a minority and ridicule them, so as to get a following.

And we’re supposed to admire ambitious types?

I have a number of options at present:

A: kick the living s**t out of his door
B: Smash what's left of his windows.
C: Just put up with it.

I don't think you should have to put up with it, but it also seems like it might be your best option. Unless there is another that I cannot see.
