I'll be 30 in 13 months, no longer considered a young adult. Yet, not mature enough to be middle age. I'll be the middle child of society.

I was at a convenience store earlier and I saw a little boy trying to use the ATM.

I told off the boy by shouting, "Hey, that's for grown-ups!"

I went into another aisle and the boy bumped into me with his mini-scooter.

Me too. I thought of a childhood friend of my NT sister who betrayed her
when they were about 10 years old. The former gave in the pressures of being "normal/popular" while my NT sister refused which caused her to be ridiculed on a daily basis. Even a counselor wasn't much of a help.

Gosh your poor sister, AnonymousAnonymous, to lose a friend in such an unkind and public way and to be bullied about her choices... these things can follow us a long while, no? I think it is very kind of you to remember it now with compassion.

Tesco was even more manic than I anticipated, and I anticipated manic. I had to go up there during the day to sort my phone out, and I was going to get a couple of Christmas cards on my way out that I'd forgotten to get earlier, but there were so many queues for every till that were all so long that they were kind of intwined and I couldn't see where any of the queues ended and which till each queue was for. So I had to put the cards back and leave the store while I still had my sanity.

^ For small items bypass the queues and check out at customer services, where there's rarely a queue.

Yeah I should have done that really, although there was a bit of a queue for there too but at least I could see where it begun and where it ended lol.
