A little old lady on the news talking about how she bought herself a pearl necklace for 15 quid

Literally made me laugh out loud

So cute

Little things amuse little minds. But yes it is cute. A small mind is under-rated.

She doesn't know I said it though, so it can't upset her. And if she also knew how much I admire simple minds, she'd be flattered.

Someone mentioned "there's no such thing as lactose intolerance, there's just people who aren't brave enough to poo themselves after a delicious dairy meal" very rarely do I laugh at a joke but this one got me.

Bought a camcorder from Japan :> A non-PAL Panasonic HC-V900K. I hope it'll be true successor for my HDC-TM90.

Same camera from US suppliers not only costed few dozens more, but I'd also pay for shipping (70$) and 150$ (!) for VAT. Meanwhile from that seller I didn't even had to pay for shipping.

Someone who I had lost quite a lot of faith in has done the right thing

You've piqued my curiosity good and proper with that.

Nothing has made me happy today, except a bit of relief that the world hasn't collapsed around my ears. I kind of thought it might, but it hasn't. Apart from that I'm running on inner happiness, but it's wearing a bit thin. I need a nice big positive or two from real life.

Going to the gym earlier today avoiding rowdy kids who show later in the day around 3 PM.

My mom, my NT sister and I call such kids "The Hoard."

Just Googled all the stores in the town that I want to visit tomorrow when I go shopping, just to see if they're still there, as I haven't been in the town for ages. These days with Amazon destroying businesses you don't know what is still left standing in your local high street and what isn't, and it's usually a huge disappointment when your favourite store just vanishes.

I do use Amazon for things I can't find in stores, but if you can buy in from stores then I prefer to go to the stores.
