I saved a cockchafer today. I'd never seen or heard of a cockchafer until today lol. I was filling up a mop bucket at work when I saw something floating about in the water and I quickly tipped the water out and saw a strange-looking creature lying on its back trying to regain its balance, so I got a pen and it gripped on to it and I got it on to its feet.
I gently eased it on to a cloth and showed a coworker and she told me what it was. Then the cockchafer started flying around me, which I wasn't expecting. It landed back on the cloth and I was becoming rather attached to it. It seemed happy I had saved its life despite me not knowing what it even was at first. Then it spread its wings again, hit my arm like it was kissing me, and flew off to freedom.
I then asked Google if cockchafers were harmless and apparently they are. If I'd known that I would have picked it up by my hands.

Then I'm not the only one who has never heard of a cockchafer before.

I love dragonflies too. And butterflies, moths, bluebottles and bees.

I had a cockchafer in my garden last night. They're really rubbish at flying. We call them Billy Witches though.

I used to throw insects at my sister. My favourite weapon was the Daddy Longlegs, which Dad called a Tommy Longlegs when he was complaining about my behaviour.

The memory of that made me happy.

Worked 8 hours for the mid-phd text, And IS basically finished. Just need to revise orthography.

Went to the gymm to train legs. And did then Taekwondo train/sparing. But in the sparing only 1 would attack for 1.5 minutes And the other defend only.

Raul said Janice was coming and she came

My sister offered me cash if I want to take time off work

When tattle tale tom and I were trying to load a customer, I unintentionally struck him with a cart and he said "(my name), bro.....". "Sorry" I said.

Javier offered me a 15-20 minute litterbox break every day. (To think I used to do that daily, for a couple of years)

^love it

I feel like I had the time of my life when I was in town today
Don't know if it was the weather or what but I was so happy
Then I bumped into a lady on my way back
She was lost and I didn't have a clue where she was trying to get to so I asked her if she's googled it
So she got her phone out and we worked it out together
It was fun

Then I've came home and sat down for the first time since my dentist appointment at 10am
