What you wrote sounds like we all have zero effect on the planet we are in. To some extent that can be true, but to a large extent it can't. If it wasn't for our ancestors buying cars we wouldn't have cars now.

I didn't say anything like that.

Eh... I'm usually frizzled up and wired at night. One of my mental problems is that when someone talks about something else or even someone else I start thinking it's all about me and I did something wrong. I hope by the end of this year I overcome that false speculation. Apologies for the misunderstanding. Anyway, how's Australia for you?

I love this forum and especially this thread. Everyone is so unique and quirky and philosophical.

friends, spreading this article to help decouple mental illness and violence is my new pet project: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4318286/

unfair and unreasonable stigma causes folks who need help not to seek it lest they be labeled axe murderers, employers to prefer hiring convicted felons over folks with mental illness, and your neighbor who brought you a casserole when your son had cancer to back slowly away when your son has mental illness.

stigma killed my dad. he chose to not get diagnosed and treated for the voices he heard, instead using alcohol, which killed him. stigma kept me unemployed (though qualified) from 1995 to 2008.

I gave up worrying about people's fears a long time ago. What bothers me now is people being overly supportive and giving to the point they blind people's and their own fears.

Unlike most autistics, I actually do want someone to tell me when I'm acting ret*d. I don't want to be easily forgiven for bad behavior. I need to have common sense like all the other neurotypicals, not be praised for having a mind like Einstein's. I'm not a genius at all in the slightest. I'm not a fan of giving out a success story. I have a great life too, better than most people's, so I'm not going to give a speech about why being autistic made my life suck. In fact, being autistic opened me up to a lot of people who were really supportive of me.

If there is one quality I'm jealous of from Neurotypicals it is having a sense of humor.

for me, a sense of humor came with lots of reading and a fair amount of time.

I've always had a sense of humour, but when I was younger I did have trouble understanding many written jokes. I'm better now, though.

In the next two parts of my story, I explore what happened before the Sacrificer [main 'antagonist' but not really] became what they are as a result of having to give up the person they cherished most. It's quite exciting; sort of like a start of darkness tale, but not quite. [There's twists along the way.]

I'm not sure why exactly, but Raleigh, your words just made me cry.
I've been needing to cry all day, thank you.

Zoom out far enough and it'll be as if none of us ever were.
I don't think that's a sad thing, at least it needn't be. It's just a thing that is.

I am extremely angry and I want to take it out on someone
I wouldn't do that.

I want to take it out on myself, for sure.
Not this time. f**k.

Why do I feel like I need [to come here,] to be heard?
Taking it elsewhere anyway.

Peace.

Are you going to reverse polarity on the phase inducers?
