I'm getting my expander off today, and I passed my German standard! :D

My roommate lost his ID today, so he literally rearranged the room looking for it. I was so shocked when I came back from classes, but the new setup is actually much more practical.

My imaginary world. It's the first time in weeks - maybe months - that I've been completely happy with it. I hope the feeling lasts.

I finally have my expander off. My tongue isn't used to all the room it's received. :)

Congrats! Getting orthodontic devices taken out is a wonderful feeling. While I didn't have an expander, I did have braces when I was 12, and it wasn't fun at all (except for getting to choose the colors of the bands, that is. I always made them look appropriate for whatever season it was).

AH! That is an excellent reason to be happy.

I was happy when I got my braces off. No more evil mouth sores!

I hated that thing with a passion.. it left an imprint on my tongue that didn't go away for like a year.
