There was a rash of "Tell the others the good news."
Which I clammed up at and went all weird.
Is that what they mean when they say autistic people don't point out things to others?

It took me nearly four and a half years to finish my second book. Now it's like all of that is compressed into three weeks. :skull:

I think this may be what they mean.
I sometimes keep things to myself then get told off by friends who want to get all excited.
But NT's do this too.
Sometimes I do not want the attention.

I've always thought the difference was that NTs will instinctively want to tell other people about things, whereas people on the autism spectrum don't. I know that's the case for me - I don't usually think to tell people something unless it's very important or I'm perseverating on it. I could be completely wrong, though, I'm prone to misinterpreting things.

It never occurred to me that people would want to know.

Finally made an appointment to get my unruly mop macheted.
As much as I've loved having long, lustrous locks, it's so freaking annoying!

Yes I do not think to announce things but I get hassle as I said above.
I am more interested in what is happening for my friends.
My friend wanted me to ring her after I went to the docs today.
I asked her why she wanted me to call - she just wanted to know how I got on.
She also sounds a bit exasperated with me, as I said it was no big deal.
I do wonder why they are so nosey but I already know the answer - it is because they care about me.
They want to share my ups and downs.

I need a hair cut soon. My hair is getting so long that I will be accidentally sitting on it soon :lol:

It grows really fast, but is somewhat dry at the ends.
