gosh :o I hope in waking life someone's got your back. :bounce:

In waking life I'm generally not trying to break into chemical factories.

still nice to have somebody in one's corner in the boxing ring of life, in general.

Speaking of corners, have you noticed our avatars seem very similar in expression, angle of head, direction of gaze etc?

I was dreaming all about death last night.

Death in dreams can symbolise new beginnings so it might not be a bad thing.

Hmmmmm..... :chin: that IS a thing :) only your avatar is considerably more well-preserved than mine, at least the character.

I'm sleeping on the floor of an abandoned building. The windows are boarded up. Every time I almost drift off to sleep, someone thumps on the boards, making me jump. Then I lie still, listening very carefully but I don't hear anything else. I'm almost back to sleep again when there's another massive thumping, then a host of other noises related to the boards being levered off the window. I jerk upright. Two people come through the window. The man has short, curly blonde hair and a face like a dried raisin. He doesn't appear to have any teeth and his face is caved in. The woman has light pink hair.
There's an internal window in the room I'm in with no glass. He comes over and puts his hands on the window sill, menacingly peering in. I'm almost climbing the walls by now. He looks at me and says something but it sounds strange because he has no teeth. I say, "Hey?"
He repeats. I still can't get it. He can't understand me either. There's this whole scene where he speaks, I say, "Hey? Then I'll speak and he says, "Hey?" Which continues until I work out he's trying to say, "No one should be in this building." I tell him I didn't know and I'm deaf. He says, "Hey?" I do the universal sign to indicate deafness - two fingers pressed to my right ear. I tell him I can't lip read him because (I almost tell him him it's because he has no teeth, and his lips are all sunken in, but then I realise that would be rude) it's too dark.
The woman says something then and the man instantly turns around and slaps her viciously across the face. I reel backwards in shock. Mercifully, I wake up shortly after this.

Building
To see a building in your dream represents the self and the body. How high you are in the building indicates a rising level of understanding, awareness or success. If you are in the lower levels of the building, then it refers to more primal attitudes. To see a building in ruins or abandoned/boarded up indicates that your approach toward a situation or relationship needs to be rethought. You may need to make a change. Your own self-image may have suffered and taken some blow.
Abandonment
To dream that you or a place you are in has been abandoned suggests that it is time to leave behind past feelings and characteristics that are hindering your growth. Let go of your old attitudes. A more direct and literal interpretation of this dream indicates you have a fear of being deserted, abandoned, or even betrayed. It may stem from a recent loss or a fear of losing a loved one. The fear of abandonment may manifest itself into your dream as part of the healing process and dealing with losing a loved one. It may also stem from unresolved feelings or problems from childhood. Alternatively, the dream indicates that you are feeling neglected or that your feelings are being overlooked. Perhaps the dream is a metaphor that you need to approach life with "reckless abandon" and live more freely.
Window
To see a window in your dream signifies bright hopes, vast possibilities and insight. If the window of a house is dark, then it indicates a loss to your perception or vitality. To see shut windows in your dream signify desertion and abandonment. To see a broken or glassless window in your dream represents your distorted view and skewed outlook on life. It also refers to a state of vulnerability. To dream that somebody is entering through a window suggests that you are involved in some secretive activity. Alternatively, the dream means that you are creating your own opportunities. You make things happen instead of waiting for them to happen.
Floorboards
To notice the floorboards in your dream suggests that you are being protective of the things that are important to you. Alternatively, it indicates that you are guarded about something in your subconscious. If the floorboards are loose, then it means that you are unsure of the ground that you are standing on. You are feeling insecure about something that you should not be insecure about..
Sleepy
To feel sleepy in your dream suggests that you are letting an opportunity pass you by if you do not take action. You need to pay more attention to your surroundings. Perhaps you are lacking knowledge or awareness in some area or issue.
Deaf
If you are not deaf in real life and dream that you are deaf, then it suggests that you are feeling secluded from the world. You may be closing yourself off from new experiences or shutting yourself out. Alternatively, the dream could indicate that your defenses are up. There is something that you are refusing to hear. Perhaps you have problems taking criticism. The dream could just mean that you are in need of some peace and quiet.
Slap
Dreaming of someone slapping someone else implies that you are not taking responsibility or stepping up to resolve issues that concern you in your waking life. You tend to watch things happen instead of taking control.

I'm sitting in what appears to be a concrete cave. A boy of about 16 is sitting cross-legged in front of me. He's very thin, pale and delicate-looking. He has black, glossy hair cut into an emo style with a fringe covering one eye. His other eye is either black or very dark brown. He's expertly rolling a cigarette. When he's finished, he throws me the packet and says, "You roll one." I'm aware of the vague shapes of other people sitting in the shadows around us, watching. I feel like I'm under some kind of test, or initiation. The whole thing seems very intense.
My hands are shaking as I take out a paper. The filter falls out several times. I can't seem to make an even line of tobacco. The end result looks something like a pregnant goldfish, complete with tails of tobacco hanging out the end. I hold it out for his inspection. He smirks. "Light it," he says.
I pick up the lighter on the floor between us and attempt to light the cigarette. I think it's lit but it doesn't seem to be drawing, so I take a deeper drag. The high hits me like a sledgehammer. I fall forward, banging my head on the concrete.
(This was part of a series of dreams last night where I was back in highschool. This scene stood out the most.)

I had a dream about Team Star Fox doing airstrikes on ISIS. Apparently Fox McCloud flies a PAK FA instead of a arwing and Slippy is a massive Islamaphobe

I may have been playing The Sims 4 a little too much because last night I dreamed I went to a mall that turned me into a video game character. I looked at my arms and they were CGI-looking. Everything in the mall still looked real, just and other people and myself looked CGI. But then I walked into a store and I turned back into a real person and then I heard a scary message that if I didn't leave the mall in a few seconds I would actually die. So I rushed out of the mall but there's a small cliff that the outside entrance is built on and I had to jump out and land in a field. And if that wasn't crazy enough, I decided to go back in the mall and become a game character again. Apparently this one store would turn you into a CGI character and then back into a fleshy human again each time you entered it. I was insane enough to go back in the store because I decided to be human again in spite of the risk and then I jumped back out. This time I saw other people jump out too, but several people either didn't get out in time or didn't believe they would die if they didn't, but then they burst into red light and vanished.
And I then actually went back in, but from a different entrance I think, because I was getting tired of jumping several feet into a field to avoid being vaporized.

i dreamt i was in this big building, and in the bowels of the building [interstitial spaces and back rooms/halls/staircases/utility rooms et al] i was walking through different spaces that had tables with food on them, and talkative people were arguing over this and that while sports sounds were piped into the room from big TV sets all over the place. there was a lot more but it evaporated upon awaking. strange.

Tonight's dream isn't too clear anymore. But essentially I was in kind of a death-metal-disco.. 4 or 5 songs were played, but they were not only songs, they told a story, and I was in that story and observed it. Hard to explain. In one of them an attractive woman with red hair played a part. Afterwards I felt really good because the music had been awesome. I went home in the dark and saw a group of people traveling with a cart filled with alcohol tanks. In the dream I though 'oh yeah it's 1st of May and everyone is out celebrating'. Well one day too early.

I had in my dream something about one of Aspijkas from WP forum few days ago (if I remember it well) again. I have never seen her or just her face... But something about her was few times in my dreams... I think that I do not remember when I had seen my born sister in my dreams last time... I thought about this Aspijka after the beginning of 2015 year. In second part of the night from 31.12.2014 to 1.1.2015 I saw a woman in my dream and I thought that she was that Aspijka. It is strange that I thought about her during my dreams some times. On one forum she once wrote that I appear to be her spiritual twin. After reading it I had something about her in my dreams some times. For my mentality she fits more to be my sister than my born sister.

I keep having dreams that I "borrow" my parents' Jeep and go driving somewhere with it, and even though I don't know how to drive in real life and in the dream I manage pretty well and seem to have an instinct for it, but I'm always nervous because I don't have a license and my parents will make me walk the plank if they find out. But this time it was different. I somehow swipe my parents' vehicle to drive home from the mall in the city here, but I can't control it and I manage to escape from it just before it goes over a bridge and into water. Now I know I'm really in trouble, but my main concern is getting home. But instead of my apartment I try to get back to my parent's house even though they live miles away and are going to wonder where their Jeep is. Then the police show up and suddenly I'm in some building where my parents are. I'm kind of in shock and can't speak so I'm laid onto a stretcher by paramedics but when I see they're about to stick an IV needle into me I start talking. Then I sit there with my parents and they don't seem very angry or upset but then I'm taken out somewhere far away and left there and have to find my own way home. I have no idea where I am but it looks like I'm in the States and not Canada and I'm wandering around. Also it looks like I'm in maybe New Orleans instead of in Maine where I probably should be. Some guy grabs me while attempting to pick my pocket. There's nothing in my pocket but I'm furious for being groped. I suddenly have paper with me and I think about making a sign saying I'm lost and homeless and need to get to Nova Scotia but I worry that whoever tries to help me is really some psycho. Also I'm too embarrassed. When I have these types of dreams I usually sleep in very late. I think the whole stealing a vehicle and driving illegally thing is just my desire to drive in real life and have more freedom and independence but it sure wasn't worth it in this dream. :(
