1. It's fun to be a duck even if my nickname should be Disco.

2. I have a thing about the early 1980s because of my friends and the music.

3. I loved the year 2007.

You're right. One of my worst ... but that's behind me now.

Way behind. The future is now!

1. My mother and I, in 1994, saw a family of ducks headed by a mother cross a somewhat busy road in Washington, DC.

2. In 1994, I lost about 40-50 pounds through obsessively going to the gym.

3. In 1994, I was successful in my pursuit of a librarian in Houlton, Maine.

I think 2? I know you lost a lot of weight but I don't see you at the gym and I think you were younger.

(Was her name Marian the Librarian?) 8)

Nope. It is #3. I went to Houlton on a vacation in 1993, went to the library, started speaking with the librarian, obtained her number (I lost it), and was generally unsuccessful with this particular venture.

Marian would have been a cool name for her 8)

For a time, I went to the gym 6 days a week, 4 hours a day.

1. In 1979 I went to Mexico with my grandparents and I believe I was bitten by a baby shark or stingray in the water. I had a very inflamed wound.

2. In 1983 I snuck into a dance at a different school. I remember sneaking in but nothing else. I didn't even go to dances (or the prom) at my own school so this doesn't make sense.

3. In 1985 I liked two guys named Greg: Motorcycle Greg and English Greg (from my Literature class). I think I went to English Greg's house once.

Strangely enough, 2 is true. I have no idea with whom I snuck into the dance, or why, or if I was alone. I think it was this time of year as I remember it in autumn. It was a private school. I know it happened as I remember waiting outside in the dark watching for a door to open. When I pass the school I am certain. I think I remember one song from once I got indoors. Perhaps it was A Flock of Seagulls (the band). My duck story reminded me of this.

Note: I googled 1983 New Wave. It was Tears for Fears, Pale Shelter. Very hard to dance to! Hence, I can say I never danced at a dance!

1 is my lie. I've been to Mexico but not with grandparents.
3 is true. Motorcycle Greg and English Greg!

Flock of Seagulls did "I Ran," which is a very danceable tune. Who knows? Maybe you might have heard that?

1. I slept on a mattress for a long time (at least three years) at 9 Nixon Court, Brooklyn, in the 1980s.

2. I had no television until 1986. In 1986, I rented one.

3. I had a personal computer some time in the 1980s.

3 for Feel and 1 for Egsy.

My Lie is #3. I didn't get a personal computer until 1995. That's when I first logged onto the Internet.
