Went all the way to Salford (the real Salford. Not that media city nonsense) today to give my stepdad and brothers graves a bit of a tidy.
Can't let the side down

I love going because it's so peaceful and I told them both how the world's changed so much that they wouldn't recognise it

Wars, starvation, cost of living, chatgpt etc etc
The usual stuff you talk to your dead relatives about

It was nice

Oh my dad's been dead for over 20 years and my brother died in 2018

They were probably the most influential people in my life, for very different reasons

My stepdad was probably one of the nicest people in the world and my stepbrother was one of the most antisocial people in the world

So there we have it

Other than the couch debacle the moving went well. It was very chaotic with all my roommates and their families bringing stuff in at once, but things have calmed down now and at least we got everything moved (except the couches)

And tomorrow we'll probably organize stuff which is always the most fun part

I got to go to the village and see a lady singing and it was nice for a change, but I'm also glad to be back in the flat with my movies and computers and its very very quiet and I'm grateful for that.

My wallet has been returned! Phew! A person found it in the park and gave it to me when I was out walking in the rain a little bit ago. I’m surprised she recognized me because I was soaked.
