My cat just told me there are elephants in the garden (we have a lot of problems with wild animals in this area). They are having a picnic in the vegetable patch, and keep drinking out of our neighbour's waterbutts.

It was so damp and chilly here yesterday that I called the fire department and they came out and built a roaring fire for me (20% discount for nonweekend rate).
