Do you play any musical instruments?

I play piano. A little bit (of) guitar and bass but hardly ever touch those instruments anymore. No, piano suits me fine. The thing needs to be tuned real bad, tough.

Can you read musical notes?

When in doubt, ask an autistic. Chances are, they're obsessed with what you need to know.

I did. To sit, or just to be around water, is very good and relaxing. That goes for me, for sure. A bit double maybe but I always felt kind of bad for the fish I got. Treated them with care and always released them back in the water of course. (that's law also here)

Have you ever been on a boat and is that a thing you enjoy?

Once. A really long time ago, when I visited cape town. We went to seal island, which asbsolutely reeks. I mean I cannot explain how terrible the smell is. I couldn't understand why people wanted to go there, maybe to see the great white sharks. Who knows? All I remember seeing was a few of the passengers hurling into the ocean. But that was such a long time ago, I'm sure if go now for the same trip, I would probably enjoy it more.

How much can you bench press?

I do exercise again. Or fitness.... with the help of physiologists (the female ones are quite nice and fit/ sort of a good motivation for me going there also) but we are slowly building things up again. So, I don't know (yet). Going to try next time I'll go. Must be more than my own weight. I hope 100kg but.... don't know, really.

When I was about 16, I won a bet saying I could do 100 push ups and did so, it's true. With luck I can do a little over 20 now but.... how many times can you push up?

Or the same question is also good.... how much can you bench press?

No, I didn't know, must be quite funny to watch, I can imagine. Shame I do not have an animal around, must be a good mood enhancer. And surely funny at times. Do not dislike cats but I must confess I'll probably go for a dog.

How many pets do you have? Maybe funny names....

No worries of course but I try not to direct my questions to anyone specific in this thread plus.... maybe 100kg is too much, it could very well be but I know I can pull myself up a couple of times from a branch or something, that's like lifting your own weight, I reckon. Weighing 75kg but blah (3x), this is becoming a bit too vain.

Fruit, like banana, pear or apple on corn bread, maybe. Plus I tend to make most of my meals a bit ratatouille like with lots of different vegetables (smaller amounts) mixed.... but that is 'cos I believe it's healthy to eat a wide spectrum of all sorts in one meal. Other than that I think I'm not that peculiar, food wise, nowadays.... but also I have little comparison.

Um....

Sometimes you hear: ~'money is the root of all evil'~. What do you think?

I don't agree completely with this although it does cause people to do bad and sometimes desperate things.

Dr Pepper or diet coke?

Dr. Pepper. It's my third favourite drink, behind Coke with Vanilla and Ginger Beer. I don't think I've ever actually tried Diet Coke though, so maybe I should.

Have you ever worked in the construction industry? If not do you have any relatives who do?

Not sure if this falls under it, guess it does, but years ago I worked for a small contractor and learned a lot from old Frans (his name). A man with few words but practical and handy as one rarely sees. Those days were great but he used to tease me and said that I was always way too theoretical, looking up every job (to do) in books and doing it in my unconventional way (hey, that's me) whereas he.... was practical to the bone and just did it. I learned by looking 'cos he rarely elaborated anything. Not always easy, at least 50% my bad, but cheers to you, Frans.

Do you consider yourself, 'good with your hands' or, lets say, quite handy?

Not really. I'm too uncoordinated for most things that need any dexterity or steadiness. It once took me over half an hour to thread a needle, and then the thread came untied and slipped out as soon as I started to sew. I'm good enough at things that need brute strength though, like opening jars.

This is a really generic question. What is your favourite book? Why?
