I unpacked a few boxes of books from years ago when I moved and there were some treasures! It is good to be reunited!

Still hunting for one or two that must be around here somewhere...

I've been going out my comfort zone more lately without getting any Emetophobia anxiety attacks. This is a huge improvement for me.

Thanks, I feel so happy that I can engage in a social life (offline) again. I was beginning to think this phobia of vomiting was going to isolate me from the rest of the world forever. Each time I went anywhere in a vehicle I'd come over ill due to convincing myself I had norovirus or travel sickness.

I do get frustrated though because I do really want to get drunk but I'm scared to in case it makes me sick. One or two glasses ain't going to make me drunk, I want to be "stupid drunk" but I'm scared to because I know it'll make me ill. I suffer with vertigo, plus I'm on 50mg Sertraline, so it won't be a good idea for me to drink too much. And having R-CPD ("no-burp syndrome") can also make affects of alcohol feel worse. Emetophobia and R-CPD often go hand-in-hand and one can cause the other. I think Emetophobia had caused my R-CPD, from childhood I found burps gross and trained myself not to do it. But that is what makes vomiting so scary. So both conditions promote each other.

After struggling with horrendous physical and mental pain and feelings that I wanted to end everything in only what I can describe as a miracle I begin to feel more better this afternoon than I have in weeks. Praise be to God and Him helping me through this.

You have been going through it, Brian. I am really glad it's a bit better. Here's hoping that trend continues.

Cheers mate

It's not all doom and gloom

I just spoke to a very charming young person with a postmodern, gender neutral name. I wish I'd have asked them more about their name because I would have like to have known the origin or if they made it up themselves

They helped me change my dental plan

I've decided to be in a good mood after all. I'm listening to German music again.
