that is quite the dream ![]()
Injection
To dream that you are being injected for medical reasons indicates that you need to develop yourself on a mental and spiritual level. You are looking for an emotional uplift or need some time to heal. Alternatively, the dream may be a metaphor that you need to "inject" more energy into your walking life. To dream that someone is forcibly injecting you represents your negative attitudes about a particular situation/person. It also indicates the influence of peer pressure working against you. You are recognizing that someone is forcing their negative and unwelcome views/values on you.
Syringe
To see a syringe in your dream symbolizes health issues, illness, or drug use. Alternatively, the dream may be a metaphor that you need to inject more enthusiasm, fun, or determination into your life. Consider also the contents of the syringe and how it would affect you. From a Freudian perspective, the needle and its contents represent the penis and sexual intercourse. To dream that you are removing syringes from your arm means that you need to rid yourself of the toxic influences in your life.
Train
To see a train in your dream represents conformity. You are just going along with what everyone else is doing. Alternatively, a train means that you are very methodical. You need to lay things out specifically and do things in an orderly and sequential manner. If you see a passenger train, then it relates to mental work. To dream that you are on a train symbolizes your life's journey. It suggests that you are on the right track in life and headed in the right direction. Alternatively, the dream means that you have a tendency to worry needlessly over a situation that will work out in the end. To dream that you miss a train denotes missed opportunities. It also suggests that you are ill-prepared for a new phase in your life. You may be procrastinating or putting things off that should have already been completed. To dream that you are the engineer signifies that you are in complete control of a particular situation in your waking life.
Restaurant
To dream that you are in a restaurant suggests that you are feeling overwhelmed by decisions and choices that you need to make in your life. Alternatively, it indicates that you are seeking for emotional nourishment outside of your social support system.
Pizza
To see or eat pizza in your dream represents abundance, choices, and variety. It may also indicate that you are lacking or feeling deprived of something. Alternatively, a pizza may have similar significance to a circle.
Cheese
To see cheese in your dream symbolizes gains and profits. Alternatively, the dream may be a metaphor for something that is "cheesy" or lame. Or it could be saying that you need to smile more.
Bathroom
To dream that you are in the bathroom, relates to your instinctual urges. You may be experiencing some burdens/feelings and need to "relieve yourself". Alternatively, a bathroom symbolizes purification and self-renewal. You need to cleanse yourself, both emotionally and psychologically. To dream that you are in a public restroom with no stalls or that there are a lot of people around while you are trying to do your business signifies your frustrations about getting enough privacy. You are always putting others ahead of your own needs. As a result, you are lacking a sense of personal space. Alternatively, the dream indicates that you are having difficulties letting go of old emotions. You are afraid that if you reveal these feelings, then others around you will judge and criticize you.
Toilet
To see a toilet in your dream symbolizes a release of emotions. You need to get rid of something in your life that is useless. Seeing a toilet in your dream may also be a physical manifestation brought about by a full bladder. The dream is attempting to get you up and to the bathroom.
Sea
To see the sea in your dream represents your subconscious and the transition between your subconscious and conscious. As with all water symbols, it also represents your emotions. The dream may also be a pun on your understanding and perception of a situation. "I see" or perhaps there is something you need to "see" more clearly. Alternatively, the dream indicates a need to reassure yourself or to offer reassurance to someone. It brings about hope, a new perspective and a positive outlook on life no matter how difficult your current problems may be.
Shark
To see a shark in your dream indicates feelings of anger, hostility, and fierceness. Perhaps, you are struggling with your individuality and independence, especially in some aspect of your relationship. Alternatively, a shark represents a person in your life who is greedy and unscrupulous. This person goes after what he or she wants with no regards to the well-being and sensitivity of others. The shark may also be an aspect of your own personality with these qualities.
Aaaand another one ![]()
tonight I dreamt that I was being 'recruited' into some kind of elite choir group, a man - probably a singer himself - created a group for gifted singers and I was part of it. However, he was angry at us for something - not practising enough, or not taking it seriously, I think - and either it disbanded again or he just sent us home one time...It might also have been some kind of boarding school actually, because I think had another flat in the dream, with orange walls.
and then I dreamt I was in the old music school that I used to learn violin at as a child. Only it was a completely different building and anyway the real building has been demolished some years ago but in the dream I was sure that it was the same building. In the dream it had white brick walls and very low doors - I had to duck for every door and I'm actually small. In the dream I thought 'oh yes, it is an old building and people used to be smaller back then'.
(In real life the music school had carpet and green, normal size doors..) And then I discovered that an old friend, who I met at said music school but no longer have any contact to, was apparently living there now - she had kind of a makeshift home in one of the corridors, with a few sheets on the ground to sleep on.
I think I dreamt this because lately I have been thinking about said friend and whether or not I should try to contact them.

I do want to, but we haven't talked to each other in about 8 years.. and we didn't exactly part on the best terms, although looking back, it was just a stupid little argument. I'm afraid she'll just completely reject me, you know. ![]()

My latest weirdest dream was spooky. I dreamed I was about to board a train and I remember seeing my ticket was for the 9:16am train. As I walked into the station, I felt unwell, faint, something was wrong, and I fell down on the ground. The episode of illness made me miss my train.
The dream had others things taking place that I can't remember, but I remember the way the dream ended just before I woke up -- in the dream, I was watching the TV news and it said the 9:16 train had been in an accident. In the dream my dreaming self thought "Oh my god, my sudden unwellness saved my life by stopping me getting on that train!" Then I woke up.
I know I probably only had this dream for two reasons though -- one is because of the recent train crash in the headlines. The other is I'm about to take a train journey this weekend, which I almost never do, so I guess I'm feeling a bit odd about that prospect.
Someone's throwing French fries at me as I'm eating a burger at Mickey Dee's in the Queen Street Mall. I look over and the person in question tucks his hands under his arms, flaps his elbows and starts making seagull noises. I snap completely. I jump over a barricade, then start moving around the mall in strange, dog-legged formations in a blurry, stop and start, light speed pursuit of my tormentor.
I'm in a clinical type room. A rather ugly woman is sitting opposite me across a desk. She's filling out forms. "Name!" She barks.
"You've got a moustache," I say.
She sighs and pushes a button on a remote control. A bright light flashes several times. It feels like it's searing the frontal lobe of my brain. I cover my eyes with my hands.
"Name!" She barks again.
"Can I lie down?" I ask weakly.
"On the table," she says, gesturing towards something that looks like a dentist's chair.
I get up and crawl under the chair I'm sitting on instead. It's a brown velvet chair with chrome legs. The legs multiply as I crawl through so it's like I'm crawling through a tunnel which is getting smaller and smaller. I try to reverse but this just pulls the legs tighter together.
I'm in art class. Someone's handing out the text books. They're doing this by yelling the person's name, then slamming the book down on the desk in front of them. Every time I hear the book slam down I get more tense and agitated. He yells my name and slams the book down in front of me. I snap. I pick up the book and whack him solidly across the head with it. He staggers back, says, "What the f**k?" Then picks up a sticky tape dispenser from a desk nearby and throws it at me. It hits me in the head and blood starts spurting across the desk.
I'm at the crossing waiting for the lights to change. Another person is standing in front of me. He turns around and we make eye contact. I mean eye contact. He looks at me for about five seconds during which time I can't move a muscle, not even my eye muscles. Then he says, "Goodbye!" And steps into the traffic. I watch, horrified, but before the car hits he just vanishes.

Does the train you're taking depart at 9:16am?
I used to have similar dreams when my kids were travelling somewhere without me but nothing ever happened. It was my unconscious way of saying, "I don't want you to go because I'm afraid of losing you." Not only losing them physically, but also that they might be having experiences which would make them grow apart from me, if that makes sense.
Maybe you're just a little anxious about your upcoming trip?

Hi Raleigh, not 9:16, but it does depart at 9:08! I wonder why my subconscious self added eight minutes?
Now, if when I actually catch my train, departure is eight minutes late, then I'll really start to worry, lol!
I think you're right about feeling some kind of anxiety about the trip; that definitely makes sense. It's an unusual journey to a place I've never been in order to meet an old friend I don't get to see often, and I have mixed feelings about how far it is and if I'll get back in time for something I do every evening (my routine kind of rules my life).
By the way, those are some wild dreams you posted there! I used to have amazing, detailed dreams like that -- I don't think I've dreamed anything that interesting in years! ![]()
I'm sitting behind the computer tech desk at the university with my daughter's boyfriend and my son. A student brings his laptop in and the boys start taking it apart. There're giggling together and bursting out in laughter every now and then and they keep calling the laptop a 'lapdog'. There seems to be more parts coming out than going back in. I ask, "What are you doing?" They say, "Don't worry. We saw this on YouTube."
The student returns for his laptop. He goes away, then he comes back a few minutes later and opens the laptop. A bright orange glow comes out of it, accompanied by a loud fanfare. The boys fall off their chairs and start rolling around on the floor laughing. I'm totally nonplussed.
I'm at work and a (usually) very conservative and modest co-worker has shown up wearing high heels, a revealing top and very short shorts, showing off a collection of Paisley tattoos on the back of her thighs. She also appears to be twenty years younger.
Everyone seems scandalised by her appearance but I'm fascinated by the interesting geometric construction of her purple and silver top, which has a diamond-shaped keyhole feature at the back.

I had this really weird dream a couple nights ago.
I was being imprisoned in this place by some guy, it was like this dome that was cut off from the rest of the world. And I was trying to escape from the dome, and I got up to this metal structure which was on the top. I was inching across it, having to go slowly because it was covered in spikes, and when I was halfway across I saw the guy standing on the other side watching me. And then he started to come across to where I was, and I was standing there trying to find another way to get out, but there was none.
Then I forget a lot of what happened next, but sometime after that I was still trapped in the dome, along with a bunch of these other girls. There was water covering the bottom of the place, and it seemed to be flowing from some place outside of the dome. So I tried to go upstream to where the water was coming from, and I got to this place where there were green plants and the water was flowing over rocks, and I could see a hole in the wall. But as I got close to getting out, it was getting harder and harder to move, and as I was almost free I found myself unable to move at all, that is, I couldn't tell my body to move. And my captor came up behind me and I felt his fingers on my neck, and I was back where I was in a second.
Then after I had tried to get out a couple more times, I was there, at the place where the water came from, like before. And I was at the very edge of the rocks, I could see beyond the wall and there was this glowing, twisting rainbow sea. I could barely move but I made myself, because I wanted so badly to get out of there. And then once I was past the wall it was easier to move again, and I was thigh deep in beautiful rainbow water. I pulled myself through the sea as quick as I could to get away from the guy, he was right behind me but I could sense that he didn't have any power over me outside of the dome. As I made my way farther there were strange things drifting in the current. I saw a bunch of phones in perfect formation float past. Then I got to a part of the sea that was full of rainbow cats. I dashed through the cats with some difficulty. If you haven't ever tried to swim through a swamp of cats before, it's surprisingly hard.
I looked behind me, and I saw the guy. He looked at me and picked up a cat, and he said that if I didn't come back to him he would kill the cat. I stood there, torn between my freedom and the love of cats. While I hesitated in indecision he took a knife and cut the throat of the cat, and right when it died I woke up.
I'm still sad about the cat dying. Poor kitty ;_;

Today's dream is rather scrambled in my memory but I do remember that I was in prison
a women-only jail and it was pretty terrible. Very rough treatment and I think I was hurt by the other inmates. They mocked me for being naive and too 'soft' I think. Not really a nightmare though. Somehow whenever I dream about terrible stuff I never wake up sweating or anything like they do in the movies... well, I did a couple of times actually.. once when I dreamt there was a spider crawling over me and once when I dreamt a bomb was exploding in front of my house and the windows were bursting and I woke up, and I swear I could feel a shockwave in my half-asleep state. That was strange.
Anyway, remember the old friend I talked about, well actually I googled her name yesterday to find out where she lives now, and I found her profile on XING. She must have seen that I visited her profile because SHE contacted ME yesterday. Life is weird sometimes! Now that dream almost seems prophetic. ![]()
