What would you say tends to be major stumbling blocks towards autistic persons finding work?

No social skills and not knowing social context,

I never thought to act any more or any less professional at work, I keep things to myself obviously but in retrospect my career would have lasted longer had I shut up about some things. Namely bringing up some harassment in the building, somethings are best left unsaid but it will always be an after thought for me and that kind of sucks but it is what it is.

Hesitation. Anxiety. Being unsure if they're competent enough. The lack of connections. The lack of informal knowledge. The lack of flexibility.
Any of those despite being qualified, despite the competence.
But I think the worst of all is the lack of chance and incompatibility. Especially if you're an uncommon specialist looking for a job with low demand. Ends up taking jobs that doesn't suit or even a job that you are not trained for that would likely end up losing it.

Well my whole thought process is really but I am libertarian at the core and I am Christian so probably somewhere between that. Also I am of the strong opinion that its the end of the world but I have a good source for it, not any of that 2012 bull crap. Plus no one can know when the end is but I see it going in the direction it needs to and if its 10 years or 1000 years it doesn't matter to me cause we have crossed the point of no return.

I don't want to be only illogical one here, spill your absurd thoughts, same question,

Do you think occupational outlook for all autistics will get better over the next 5-10 years

I haven't done anything for money, but I was one of the supervisors at VBS year before last and one of the helpers along with my mom on Mondays at church (we don't go to church anymore, so I dont do that now)
