My Stormy Heart Care Bear plush arrived today. She's probably the only Care Bear I find more relatable than Grumpy Bear.

My husband called me a "dreamer". I was absolutely delighted to be called that, as it was the exact word Foster's wife called him.

I think I was him in a past life, you know.
:chin: I've never shared so many traits with anyone in my life (except maybe my mother), albeit him being an American man that's been dead for 162 years.

Sunshine. Wind. Rain.

Got drownded, which I always find fun.

One of those days where it seems like everyone you meet is smiling.

I just went into town for bread and thought I'd have a pie whilst at the bakery. I grabbed my loaf and joined the pie queue (at least a dozen ahead of me).
A few people behind was a girl I assumed from stature and physique was about 14, but she had a hat on, her back turned...
When I did glimpse her face I had to reassess to between 25 & 35, but I was trying hard not to stare, not appear overly curious to the couple I thought she was with. When I got to the checkout I could no longer see her behind me so I paid and left, then started munching my pie in the car.
She then exited the store on her own and started to walk past where I was parked.
With 1/2 pie in one hand I grabbed an eyeless peacock feather of the dashboard (a tail edge, prized by fly fishers for making insect legs), leapt out of the car and approached saying "before you race past, could you please hold this" and got her to grab it with a finger holding a soft drink can.
I said thanks and turned and walked off.
I got to my door and saw her looking at me quizzically as she continued her way, so I grinned and said "I just wanted to freak you out"

I was about to berate myself for possibly accosting a teenager when she got in her 4WD and drove off.
I curse my age blindness and congratulate my impulsivity.

My apologies to anyone triggered by the thought of getting confronted by a giant shaggy Viking rando brandishing fluffy things, but that really made my day.

Happiness is infectious. I read all the things that made

cecilfienkelstien, Rossall, Tamaya, kuen, Carbonhalo, shortfatbalduglyman, and babybird's comments and found happiness in each thing I read, and I could understand why it made you happy.

(Seriously)
